Do we know, as of yet, if you can carry skill points over from one skill book to the next? Or possibly, only between certain skill books, as the SP resets seem to imply?

Does anyone see a reason for there to be 2 Fire based 4th job level attacks?
Fire Wheel does 300 attack to 6 enemies, while Chain Fireball does 320 attack, but is probably going to suffer from diminishing hits.

What's the point of Chain Fireball then? :f6:

They're different ranges.
Flame Wheel hits a 100px by 710px box in one direction, presumably in front:

Blaze is a chain type attack.

Also, Flame Wheel looks to be pretty slow, whereas Blaze... I don't know really, I'd have to judge from the animation, but it's probably rather speedy.

Oh, that's another thing. For all we know, these attacking skills with seemingly godly Base Attacks may have such long casting times that their bossing DPS ends up being fluffy like a throw pillow.

That's what I was thinking - the few skills that I've seen so far all have long animations (some even have charge times), and some of the skills seem too overpowered to be as fast as, say Paralyze.

shadowers still have smokescreen/haste, drk's still have HB, BM/MM still have SE; they wont be made obsolete, just replaced and used solely for buffs.

This looks full of delicious. I love the idea of a dragon growing up with you as you level. Adds a whole new dimension to the idea of leveling up.

The attacks look like full of awesome, and I can't wait to see this progress.
