Practically almost ALL MW2 owners BUY the game for it's Multiplayer, I'm already 1st Prestige, and I haven't even touched Campaign yet..

I really hope this isn't your argument.

1) Day One. Not everyone checks gaming websites 24/7 for online bugs RIGHT WHEN it's released to stop themselves from buying the game.
2) Pre-game hype exists.
3) Even if they do realize it, they've already bought the game.

My mind is just blown that Bowser's Inside Story was nominated. It was a great game but not typically the kind of game that's up for awards.

'Cause it's overrated. No one knew the stuff I was listing was gonna be in the game.

Now...let's look at the ratings.

Gamefaqs:

Left4Dead PC. 9.0 Gamefaqs rating and 9.0 Gamerankings average.

MW2 PC 3.5 Gamefaqs rating and 8.8 Gamerankings

The 3.5 is NOT typo. The lag is unbearable on the PC. The PC killed MW2's average. Excluding the PC, MW2's average is slightly higher.

MW2: 9.5

Gamerankings: Screw this site, they rated the PC for MW2 really high. Higher than MW2 on the PS3.

tl;dr: For the PC, Left4Dead2 is better than MW2. On consoles, MW2 wins out.

My gosh. Generic Shootan Game #456 of this generation. What does it have to compete with exactly? Despite Spike TV being a complete joke, and the vast amount of moron consumers this day and age, CoD MW2 could be a good game. (Take note I have not played it.) High sales does not make a great game however.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem was one of the most innovative and best horror games to come out for it's time. Guess how many copies it sold? 288,654 copies. That's it. Proof right there that sales mean nothing. I could bring up a bunch of examples, but that one really is good enough.

I'm not even going to touch on how greedy Activision is. It's not uncommon for developers to bribe reviewers for good scores. Activision themselves are a cancer on the quality of the game industry. Other developers are going to see the "success" of MW2 and try to emulate it. It's nothing but a downward spiral from here and everyone who bought into it is at fault.The future of games is very, very bleak.

Everyone knows Battlefield1943 is the best game of the year...

Best game should be for Flower for the PS3. The only game done for that console.
