Sure, they get critical and they get Amp. But: they acquire these skills at lower levels though, they might be gimped versions of the skills mages get, but most of these comparisons are to the skills mages get later vs evan. given evan getting them earlier on in the game, they would have to be nerfed a bit. the higher level skills for evan seem to blow mages out just that much more... i dont know how well they work yet, but they are much stronger then something like chain lightning, paralyze or the demons... the main contrast to make will probably be the ults. does evan's other arsenal of skills, which do sound strong, make up for their ult having a 1 min cool down... the ult is substantially stronger in its base ma, mixed with the other skills it would seem to surpass a mage. esp given if its more useful at bossing and offers buffs for party members. it might not be a good choice for leeching given the cool down, but if they fix leeching thats kinda mute. bishops of course will remain somewhat popular, but it seems like a job that could detract from their popularity. esp IF leeching is fixing in gms.

I noticed they don't have Improving Max MP Increase. Any idea on how their MP compares to a regular Mage?

Aran comes along and replaces Heros and Paladins but not Dark Knights because of HB. Evan comes along and replaces F/P and I/L Mages but not Bishops because of their useful skills.

My main question is though what boost will this class give to other characters? Cygnus had fairy blessing before it was changed, Arans have that ring, I wonder what kind of boost Evans will give other characters.

Hmz I dunno what to think about this class... it seems fun at first... but then...
- The dragon floats above your head like a static retard chained to a streetlight... JUST HOPE IT DOESNT PISSES ON YOUR HEAD FFS... :X - It's still the character itself who's doing the same old magic swings with a magic wand... reminds me of 2004 beta maplestory... the dragon follows only follows you like a shadowpartner... Somehow I don't really have the feeling it's the dragon who's doing the attacks... Anyone remember the CS item "My DJ buddy" or w/e it's called? This looks a lot like it... and it was fugly as hell... Now I know this is only the alpha stage of the class... But I really hope for nexon they're going to improve the gameplay feeling / handling of skills differently... make the dragon do the attacks for you, not the character... (not meaning auto attack, but just disable magic wand swings on the character itself... :X) Somehow I have the feeling this class would have been better if it would have been a dragon rider class (like corsair's battleship)... now it doesn't really feel "cool & new" to me... Even though the damage seems quite good... (sucks to be an AM right now... :X) Meh... I dunno... Maybe lvl120+ dragons will allow you to ride on top of them? Or are these all dragons till lvl 200? :f6:

But you don't spam ultimates at most bosses except zak arms lol, so no big deal.

Good question. But the same applies: Why would it? Dragons and summons have, as far as I know, different formulas than other skills. Dragons have for instance a different mastery-multiplier than normal characters.

I'm not sure about Bishops. Takebacker Wrote:I see 135% amp, not 120%. Fiel says 135%, Insoya says 120%.

lol, I see a pokemon class.
Dragon I choose you! (although from the intro it looks like the dragon chose the dude) Dragon! Lightning bolt! Dragon! Fire circle! Also, from the insoya translation, it looks to me like their res is like the life-3 in FF, a buff you cast that revives you when you die

In after the idea that this will replace mages, even though people said that about other things as well. Which turned out false.
