Regardless, I don't remember that picture from the original Prince of Tennis arc. I can't say that I'm fascinated with the new one as it seems to be just a cheap spin off to generate more money off an old user base.

In the original Prince of Tennis, the one thing that was engaging was that there were so many characters and each of them had an individual personality. In the new arc, it appears as if they are just generating throw-away opponents so the old characters can train and show off their new moves.

The irony is that training was usually never-ever shown in the original arc except for a few instances which also shows how much the new series branches from the old series in the way it's being told.
