The Archer Legend class will push aside those other archer platypi and start using Recurve Bows.

Though I seriously think number three is a spear using thief now. I have this picture in my head of a skill that is basically like Savage Blow meets Assassinate, in the freaking air.

#1. Aran (Polearm Warrior Hero Class)
#2. Thief (dagger) Hero Class
#3. Mage Hero Class
#4. Pirate Hero Class
#5. Archer (Bow) Hero Class

Looks pretty clear to me.

Here's something nobody seems to have thought of in this thread, or maybe it's just too old of an idea? Now I think those other 4 chars are actually normal adventurers, as in bowmasters, mages, heros, etc, and that Aran in the back is coming in a bit late to join in the fight? Maybe the fact that there are exactly 4 other characters ahead is just a coincidence or some sort of art-related idea? Since the black mage is in the front it wouldn't make much sense for the Aran to be the first released class and yet be at the very back of the battle group considering it's a melee attacker. It also looks like it's rushing forward, again implying that it just joined in the fight or is about to.

Real-life logic: inexistent in Maple, although..

1) Just because Aran was the first released class doesn't mean that Aran was the first to strike or even arrive.
2) Aran, like other characters, could be knockbacked. Aran can retreat temporarily. The possibilities are endless.

I guess we will have to wait for 2 years or so to see all the Hero classes if Nexon releases one class every 6 months. Its going to be a long wait. lol

Nice find. But... doesn't that look like a warrior? I think it's a short sword and a warrior-esque shield. Perhaps that epic battle scene isn't quite depicting what's to come since they haven't created them yet and have no idea. It does seem strange to put two warriors in the scene, though.

While that is a good theory, then that would mean that the pirate hero class would be in the back as well, slightly ahead of the Aran. Pirates were also just barely added to the fight, as well...

Theres a lot of possabilities in those skill trees which could make a fun class.

You cannot, under any circumstances, call that a dagger. It's a sword, no argumentation in the world can alter that even the slightest.

Remember that Aran were just regular warriors before they got owned by the black magician, their new power came from being ice cubes for centuries, no?
So whats to say that this warrior with a 1h sword might did not get carried away by the magicians faithful dragons, and after a thousand years of rape and abuse, their offspring are 1h sword magicians that mount their dragon siblings in glorious battle.

ten bucks says you're going to be fighting while riding a dragon mount.

Daggers can be quite long, I've seen some over 3 foot long. That could easily be a dagger.
