[1.2.265] New mage class!
On another subject. It brings up the question if Nexon will ever do their own "Legendary" classes based off of the Crimsonwood Keep classes.

Btw, you're the one who's saying Cygnus aren't useful at bossing, so you're also the one who's saying any Adventurer class besides Bish/DkK/BM/NL/CS and/or lower then lvl140 aren't useful either because they're too weak or they lack usefulness to boss... :f6:

They are weak. But they have potential. Unlike Cygnus Knights which are capped at level 120 and are incapable of doing anything that an Adventurer can't do better.

Cygnus don't level that much faster than Adventurers. One month is exaggeration. Most people can't train that diligently. If you can get a Cygnus to 120 in a month you can get an Adventurer to 120 in 6 weeks.

Where the hell did I say anything about those classes? ALL Adventurer classes are better than ALL Cygnus Knights. Cygnus Knights are just a gimmicky addition to the original lineup.

Possible exception of Strikers and Buccs, but that's just my opinion.

Of course Cygnus will be better than Adventurers at the same level, but since they can't go beyond 120, they kind of suck at Zakum and beyond. I don't think their increased stats and early 4th job skills can make up for a 20% reduction in damage -- not to mention possible HP or accuracy problems at some of the other bosses.

If that combo turned out to be true it would be awesome. Though again I wish it was Str/Int. You could scroll your weapon and shield for either STR/INT, ATT/M.ATT. It could have been interesting if they gave perks for scrolling one way or the other.

But since Arans just use Pole Arms it seems less likely they would go out of their way.

off topic: I play multiple classes cause i get bored staring at the same character often (my bowmaster got boring cause it was one button all the time- i actually fell asleep sniping at newties at the low 12x =P) I switched to Buccaneer in order to have a more active gameplay (you have to use different buttons because of the delays between skills). Yeah i could stick with these two classes forever, but what's the fun in that? Sure you'll have a high level character, but sometimes that's not the fun part.


On topic: I liked the idea of 1 handed sword mage that utilizes magic and attack stat. I mean beating crap with a sword to make combos to use magic? who wouldn't wanna do that? Especially on a dragon battle mount =O

Cygnus = Maple easy mode, Adventurer = Normal, Aran/5 legendary heroes = hard mode. So i'm guessing it's gunna be somewhat harder to play a legendary hero than an adventurer (Maybe all 5 uses combo system?). I'm sure there will be some down side/a less appealing side to a legendary hero to balance out with an adventurer if they are so strong as people put it. Wouldn't be on hard mode for no reason!
