I think this class will either be awesome because they have some sort of super-ultimate, or that they'll suck because they don't have any sort of ultimate. In both cases, I see it as very very unlikely that they'll have decent single-target damage. Totally taking bets on that.

If it's mage I HOPE it doens't have ultimates o.o

looks more to me like a mount you can attack on (think battleship but not restricted to the cannon). Not saying there won't also be summons but this looks like a Mage Knight style mounted unit.

Been wondering when they'd do something for that "mob equip" slot...

Yeah it's probably a Dragon Tamer Mage, where you ride on the dragon all the time (like a battleship) and use various attacks with it.

I hardly doubt you can actually fly with it, because maple maps aren't made for that. Maybe you can jump high with them though and have a lower falling speed (sorry gunslingers for stealing your ability xD)

I think it's more like Golden Axe, if anyone remembers that classic game from 1989... You can choose to ride drake / dragon like monster that attacks for you (fireballs, flamethrower, etc).

I guess there will be some chargeup ultimates like Aran's also have (Tempest) too for the eyecandy...

Although, if it -IS- a mage class, I wonder how Nexon is gonna boost the spell's baseattack, since that was magician's flaw in 3rd / 4th job...

I also assume they also get passive criticals to allow all classes to use criticals (+Sharp Eyes, of Aran's boosted (lol) variant of it) the same way... unlike how broken / underpowered most adventurer classes are now that don't have passive criticals...

That isn't entirely true. Although Aran do have tons of skills, most of them are used by pressing the regular attack button and some combination of arrow keys. The rest are buffs.

Yeah not to mention that the combo that you'll be doing the most involves nothing but mashing the attack button and occasionally the forward key. Aran is even more of a button mash than some classes.

Nah he actually did mean TT and Ultimates. He was implying that Aran wasn't monotonous mutton mashing.

this is only my assumption but those EQs looks preety familiar to Tenvi Online's Silva Class.
Since Tenvi is also under Nexon Korea, there's a high chance that it's based on that class.

Silva is a magician race that ride dragon. There are 3 subclasses for Silva, Fire, Ice & Holy.

Oh my god they can fly.

in Tenvi online, all classes (Silva, Taree & Andras) can fly.

If this really is a new class...I'm bracing for epic.

I was bracing long ago... But a dragonback archer would be really fun.

I think we have more than enough classes... there's been no new areas with real content lately, only aran (which many of us won't be caring about past the att ring level anyways), the random filler areas, and these pqs that people will stop caring about after the first week or two after release. They really should get going on expanding or at least cleaning up Ellin forest.

I think the idea behind this is to make a large mix for the "final" battle against the black magician. One where you will need every ounce of strength and the skills of every job.

God knows the current jobs alone aren't up to it; can't even beat a jelly bean.

Is it possible that they're just using the TM as a placeholder like they did with the aran skill icons?

"Tm" stands for "Taming Mob" and is used exclusively with the Character.wz data. It's not a placeholder. If they changed the "Tm" to anything else I'd be extremely surprised. The chances of them changing this is slim to none.

lol just when people had jumped on the Aran bandwagon this comes out...I can see people jumping ships until all the Hero Classes have been released.
