122 corsair training
#1
So when can I get out of newties? Would solo training at time temple or that one map where theres two flat levels (bottom nest golems, top skeles) be a good alternate? I have Lv.5 cannon and am on my way of maxing cannon first. If not at level 122, when can I leave newties to get decent %/h?

EDIT: I have pretty good control over my ship already (in my opinion) So ship hp isn't THAT huge of a deal, of course it'll hinder training in hard to maneuver areas but still Smile

Why do you make so many training threads every few levels instead of asking on the stickyyyyyyyyfdkgjfhdgkjnfdfdgkjnfkjdnfdfghdfkjghdnxgnfkjgndfkgnnjg hfwbvrnrvndlkj?

...

Well, where did that come from? You should probably be able to train in Time Temple once you can kill Oblivion Monks there in a good 3 hits or less (4 hits or more I believe frozen mobs will be free to attack again). Of course, you can always reapply Icesplitter if you can't kill in 3 hits yet.

*But really, you made the most Pirate threads out of everyone here. 8/20 of the threads on page 1 were made by you. Goggleemoticon

Actually the last training thread I made was when I was level 95 title'd Newties getting slowly slow. It just gets bumped cuz people post random crap on it. I haven't made a training thread since then so.... ANYWAY I should continue with my 999 time temple quests then.

Might as well. Who knows? You may end up gaining a level while doing all those 999 Time Temple quests. Biggrin

awww dont be mean to him, it's not his fault he cant think for himself>.>

anyways... yes ToT would be good for soloing exp when you can 3hko them, same goes for skeles (a little slower but a lot closer to shops and fm and stuff for when you need to recharge and re-pot)
and you can also easily SKPT as a bottomer with a bishop or a AM(with a hs mule/leeching priest) as soon as you can 3hko them (you shouldnt be that far off i believe lvl 11 cannon should do it) but you migth not be able to find anyone to take you untill you can 2hko them everytime(should be around 140 depending on gear and stuffs) and that would be the best exp you can get in the game i believe(not 100% sure if SEA has any better places

edit. Im not 100% on this but i hear bottoming for a newty pt is better exp than soloing in ToT/Skeles anyways (couldnt have tested this cause i was over that level when ToT came out in GMs

Sorry to inform you, but Newties is a hotspot for a long time. I was training there through my 16x and 17x on my Bowmaster whenever I was partying with another ranged attacker. Even though you may hate it there, it'll be the best training around until you can get a decent amount of points in Torpedo and go to Skeles. I suppose the Time Temple maps might not be bad for soloing. I doubt it'd be better than Newties, but at least you could get the quests done.

And yes, please use the Ask a Pirate or Training Guide Reference thread next time. We don't need this place turning into Sleepywood -- where half the threads are "were do i train lvl xx" threads because each person finds their particular situation to be unique and special even though they're asking the same questions that have been asked for years.
