MetaSeraphim Wrote:They wouldn't do something that stupid. Come on now, even if you're being sarcastic you should be a little more sensible. Yeah, it was sarcasm, but seriously, you won't know what they'll do next. For example, the turkeys in the Newtie and Skelegon Mini Dungeons. People thought it would just be in the low leveled ones. DeanNim Wrote:are you guys forgetting that priests leech from 80 ~ 120.. even if it isnt a bishop nuking the map ? Yeah, it's true. When that happens, it will be incredibly hard for priests to level.

@chrisloup:
Your logic is flawed. You have less to lose from partying a level 120 that can't kill anything with the new system than you would under the current system. You get less exp from your party members, but at the same time you get more exp from your own kills. You are less dependent on your party members for exp and more dependent on your own killing ability. Many people, including myself, train in 2 person parties at TT with an HS mule. This change only helps us. @PirateIzzy: I remember a time when Shining Ray was actually considered a pretty good mob skill and Priests didn't hug other classes for exp all the way to 4th job.

Glad to see the translations are MUCH better; it sounded like they typed it while they were high before. Now, there's a lot more clarity in addition to better spelling and grammar. Some interesting examples:
Now Wrote: Befor Wrote:Pole Arm Booster No Wrote: Befor Wrote:Pole Arm Mastery No Wrote: Before Wrote:Pole Arm Smash No Wrote: Befor Wrote:Smart Knock-Back

Devil Wrote:Erm, training in a party without HS is -STILL- 110% exp, and with it, it's still 150% exp, if every attacker in the party attacks normally... like they're supposed to. If this is true, then I guess it'd be great to have this. I remember back when this system was introduced in KMS, people kept saying how it completely screwed over normal partying...

As for the bold, he did provide the correct numbers.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL @ party exp revised.
SEA just got f'ucked hard. Devil Wrote:Then why don't you explain to us all then how it 100% correctly works, since you seem to know it but are unwilling to share it with the rest of us, instead of only saying that something what another user posts is incorrect without explaining what the correct numbers are... :f6: They're in Russt's MapleStory Formula Compilation. It doesn't divide 110% between people, it splits exp based on party levels and then gives everyone an individual bonus based on the number of people in the party and whether or not they are currently buffed with HS. For two people of the same level to party without HS the current exp distribution would be damage dealer = 66% (60+6) other person = 44% (40+4) After the change it would be damage dealer = 88% (80+8) other person = 22% (20+2) |
