Annoyance of this event...

Alright... Who else thinks this event is more annoying than it's worth? Just because I don't have that 1 hour expiring permit should be no reason to spam my chat box with this crap... It's getting more annoying with the notices about the top artifact hunters going back and forth from each other...-.-;
And not to mention the turkeys...

I'm pretty sure it's 1 hour for the permit. Which means I'll have to head back to town every hour just to get another permit.

As for the Turkeys, they come every year so love it/hate it they are here to stay.

Though one might question their placement.

Even for people not looking join in, this alone would be enough to annoy most people... With all the unavoidable spam... But once you get a lot of points already, it would feel a waste for it to be reset to 0 again...

And yeah... Why mini dungeon's of all places and not outside of them? Just looks like Nexon's just trying to hinder or annoy people that train apparently... At least what they've could of done is make the turkey's drop cranberry sauce again like last time... It'd a tad more helpful...

I wish it were just a lightbulb that appeared over your head after an hour to let you get a new one. I'm not wasting atleast 5 mins to go back and forth while training for whats gonna be a 3-day temp equip that I really have no use for.

If you let it build up and get to 100 artifacts they take away your points but they also give you a new permit. So you go from chat box spam to top of screen spam. This is the first time I've been inclined to shop in the cs to see how much that ignore items item is for my pet.

That. This event is seriously making me consider expanding my etc. inventory, lol. That being said, if you dont really care about npcing etc. drops, just take off your pet's item pouch and just have it loot mesos.

Worst part of this event is having the permit expire a split second before your pet loots an artifact and resetting your count to 0 instantly. I completely gave up even trying it because I got tired of having all my progress erased by events outside my control.

It only resets to 0 once you reach 100 artifacts looted without a permit. The annoying part is the three lines of text it gives you every time you loot an artifact within that time frame.

Unless theres a glitch that resets it after just one, in which case I'm sorry, never bothered to actually get a new permit within the 100 artifact limit.

It doesn't erase your progress. I was afraid of that too but if you stop collecting and get another permit before "stealing" 100 artifacts your count is safe.

Congratz! I won as well. I'd say this event is totally worth it, lol. Hell, I even came out with more nx/mesos than I did going in, rofl.

@ Isaac: As others have said, your points dont get reset until you collect 100 without a permit. That being said, it's not worth doing unless you're really dedicated. I finished 9th in Scania and used 8.5k nx (1 24 hour card, 3 4 hour cards) and a megaload of rep mules (I gave my friend a 100% witch belt scroll in return for I think what ended up being 15-20 casts of 2x party drop), not to mention the countless hours of "grinding" at roids (Im a bowmaster, I dont have genesis...I cant train at skeles while keeping up progress with the rest of the people). I did it the first week because it was a short week (Wednesday to Sunday instead of Sunday to Sunday) so I stood more of a chance, but by Sunday, I was dead; I was like "I cant stand to kill another roid or collect another artifact" Unless you have some major dedication, or pick them up as a "bonus" with training, it really isnt entirely worth spending your whole week in front of your computer (I think in terms of time actually collecting, I spent 20ish hours?) along with all the nx for 2x/4x drop.
