強海賊王 - Lv 160 Viper

Sorry about the sloppyness... I'm sick, so when I made this, I couldn't focus very well and there's a storm going on, so there's a lot of lag in the video (you can see it at some points)

(Once the video is done processing, watch it in HD!)

G-g-g-g-g-GRATS Justin! Also, pretty sweet usage of Shockwave in 4th job training. 5 stars for you. Biggrin

Yes, I am not calling it failwave in how it was used. Blush

Thanks! Big Grin

Shockwave is awesome in mobs in Time Temple. It really helps a lot with training, although potion costs are a bit higher than without Shockwave.

Epic usage of shockwave is epic. I get more exp and its ALOT more fun training that way. Makes APQing for pot money mandatory, though. :p

Im terms of control, you showed pretty nice control throughout the video. If that's what you were aiming at, you did an awesome job.

If you were aiming at an artistic work, you did a pretty decent job as well. The speed of the footage went well with the pace of the song, and you even used flashback during the intro.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do with this video, but I'll leave some constructive criticism in terms of artistic value (Im a bowmaster, I wont be able to comment too much about viper control xD).

Flashback: It would've been better if you had different footage. You had the right idea in terms of timing, but if you had say, 75, then 85, then 95, etc. in shorter time increments, it would've been awesome.

musical interlude: Just a suggestion, but in terms of footage, I'd say to segment off there; for example, start off the himes footage when the middle instrumental section comes in, and when it leads into the electric guitar solo, have the "highest", most exciting footage there.

I'm also kinda curious as to your reasoning to putting the lyrics at the bottom of the video. I cant read Japanese, so I can only read the English lyrics, but do the lyrics contribute to the footage you're showing in your video? Just curious. It's an amazing sounding song though, I think I'll go off and find an album of theirs and listen through it or something, haha.

And on a final note, gratz on 160 xD

Thanks! It was kind of hard to do, though, since I was getting an ass-load of lag from the Nor'easter that was hitting my state at the time.

Thanks. I was going to add more to it, but I can't get people together to go to more bosses or more fun things. ;x

Yeah, that's a good idea. It's just, I don't have any footage of me from level 80 or so. I have some footage of me at level 97, but those were pretty boring. lol It was just me using Screw Punch on a mob of Dual Pirates over and over.

Yeah, I might remake the video to make it flow better in those parts. I'm not sure how I'm going to exactly fill in the 'most exciting' part, though. =/

The song was purely a personal choice. lol But at least the music itself it's fun, so it adds to the video. The adding of lyrics was just for fun as well.

And yeah, X-Japan is an amazing band.

Thanks! ;D
