The rest of the boss equips.

Well, after doing the long quest chain I finally got my pirate hat (Crocell's hat) and it looks amazing. What I want to know is, where do I get the other pieces? The gloves and shoes to be more exact. Does Crocell drop them? He respawns but it takes me a minute to kill him and he's quite annoying with his stupid stun move. I'd rather not waste 5 hours to figure out he doesn't drop it.

Does anyone know where to get the pieces?

You need to have that quest done (or any other of the class variants) to start the demon quest chain.

Also, I'm not sure where you get the other equips.

People tell me I need to keep doing the quests they give me after lvl 25, although they dont have them themselves. I won't be too sure about it till friday :c\

Maybe you get the gloves and shoes in Episode 2 and 3...

This is true because at the end of that chain you get a helmet which is required to get past the first map of Astaroth's dungeon.

You can only fight him 3x/day.
I did it on my STR cleric, first time I died.
2nd time it dropped a 2 handed warrior sword, which a party member looted.
3rd time didn't drop any equips.

How hard would it be to solo? My Flash Fist does like 800 on average, and I can attack about 120 times per minute >_> I'm not a great fan of killing bosses in parties, esp. with low levels.

Unless party lets you solo, it's impossible to fight boss alone. At least 3 members needed. I wanted to solo it too, but i guess not =[

EDIT: From what I know/experienced, the boss has 180,000 HP and hits 250 avg both magic and physical.

The boss also inflicts undead status.

I was unable to move several times for several seconds each time. I think it was stun, though the spinning mushroom effect didn't appear around my character's head.

Also, whenever Astaroth uses his volcano eruption skill it seemed like the Volcanoes were also part of Astaroth's body, making it a pain for ranged classes.

To add to this, the fire attack has about 300% forward range and has the ability to sometimes stun, and the death reaper attack has about 300-400% forward and backwards range, knocks you back about 200-300% and always inflicts zombie status.

Died on first try because keyboard failed. At first I thought it was one of his attacks, but it wasn't, so I had to restart computer.

Second attempt killed my two partners because the Cleric was healing when they were both undead status. Left because it had over 3/4 HP and the volcanoes were pissing me off.

My third, try killed it after a while with two other people. Nothing special dropped, just mesos, elixirs, power elixirs and cheesecake.

Soloing would seem easier as a melee than as a ranger, because, as stated above and here, those damn volcanoes and a pair of dolls/statues he summons to protect/buff him.

that doesnt prove that he drops the respective gloves and shoes...he drops his weapons bc it makes sense bc they all hav the word "Astaroth" in front of them...

if anyone happens to have SS proof of the gloves or shoes dropping from him or one of the other bosses please post...in the meantime ill be in the strolling path on 2x drop killing the bosses lol >_<
