New JOB? AFTER ARAN?

Looking over at Spadow's blog... It appears that this isn't a mistranslation after all. It looks like they really are working on a new job (and juggling a pineappleload of other games in the process Rolleyes).

I wonder why almost everyone assumes that all of the other Heroes will use the same combo system as the Aran? I personally think the other four will have their own special combat system.

Aran like gunners, lightning based gunners, holy shadowers, holy archers?
Thats way too much imaginative thinking there, Nexon ain't going to combine two classes, nor are they going to add elements to a current class and make it new. We should probably wait until there are more clues out there.

that indeed would be awesome. I hoping for a new map as well, since im still going to play my sair as my main. Hoping this huge patch in december is going to be worth all the worthless theme dungeon content KMS has been receiving lately.

A better question still would be shouldn't they balance the adventurers first, and maybe give us some areas that's not 50 lvls below us?

Because the majority of Neoxn's player base is below lv 70. They dont really care nor cater about the minority of people over lv 120. They make far to much money on all the people below 120, which is why every patch and event is angled towards them.

Yeah I'm not happy with it but I cant do anything about it.

I think the next job is going to be a mage. Mainly because Warriors and Mages are eachother counterparts in some ways (especially HP and MP). Hopefully the Mage is going to be neutral as we already have 2 Magicians with fire, ice has been taken already, a pure poison mage doesn't seem that logical if the combo system is used and I want lightning to be used by either Thieves or Pirates. That and every mage has been using an element so far.

Now, I'd like to see the Thief and Pirate to be realeased a a pair, or maybe as trio with the Archer.
Thief: Dagger, lightning or fire elemental(I prefer lightning), maybe specialised in aerial combat if lightning is used(seems the most logical).
Pirate: Gun, fire or lightning elemental(I prefer fire), with a long combo with powerfull and slower shots towards the end(but really fast overall).
Archer: Crossbow, maybe poison based. Aerial combat seems viable for this job too.

Not another holy job, we have enough of those.

Time Master / Timer.
Remember the three doors in Time Temple...?
One of them will lead to the hometown of the Time Masters (Probably the Future door).

This is just a thought :o
This job would control the ability of Time and Holy combined.
Well, I guess we should wait and see.

Maybe if they introduce a bunch of elementally based jobs they will ACTUALLY GIVE ME SOME BOSSES WITH WEAKNESSES I CAN FIGHT! I WANT A BOSS THAT'S WEAK TO HOLY! Mad /rage

Except that jobs with the Holy element are the most played jobs in the entire game(Dawn Warriors and Bishops) while other elements are "underused". If I would count the amount of Holy users I know and the amount of other elements on my buddylist and in the guild I'm in the Holy users would win by a longshot.

That and Holy doesn't really fit with anything besides Magicians and Warriors. And I don't think anyone wants another Bishop.

And the only class that actually NEEDS Holy (Paladins) is boned because of these stupid things. A DW isn't going to be fighting something super powerful, and Bishops are support characters, and no matter how godly they are at training, having a Holy weakness will not make a Bishop broken at a boss. I'm just mad that my strongest element gets so royally boned because of stupid things like DWs. Hothead

Don't get me wrong, I love Paladins. The thing is that their other elements should just be boosted, but that will require another skill update patch(and I'm afraid that will never happen). The thing still is that Holy doesn't really fit with anything but Warrior and Magician, and the fact that it's overused doesn't really help either. I do think Holy/elemental resistance by major monsters is stupid, but it's Nexon we're talking about here, and their logic is "This is a strong monster so it's resistant against elemental attacks.". Either way, I don't think any other Holy element class will appear for a while. Which might mean that bosses with less of a holy resistance could appear.

Let's just hope they don't do something stupid and introduce an even more broken class than Aran.

Sorry, I'm partially raging about the fact that Auf Haven is Holy weak during her first form, which has 10m HP, and then becomes weak to Ice and Poison. I want SOME chance of being good at these bosses besides being a KB machine. Frown
