The pre-requisite quests are the ones we've had for about the last 2 years, from level 10-14 or so - you kill 10 slimes, then 20 slimes, then 50 slimes, then some stumps for Grendel, and so on. You get a few pots for it.

It sounds to me like he's asking about the new quests, not the old ones.
Also if he got to 30 in a single day he might as well just recreate the character and do it again tomorrow.

Is it possible (although I know it isn't very likely) that they change the original "training" quests so that anyone can do them, or just take out that pre-req in this patch, or do I need to go submit yet another unheard ticket...

Noobie, lazy question (since I didn't read the thread):
So if you are Lv. 31+ and want the helms/other equips, you have to make new characters, quest like hell on them, and scissor over the equips (if they're scissor-able)?
Just checking.

From the looks of it, you don't have to make new characters if your current character already did all of those training quests that your job instructor gives you during 1st job.
If you're already over Level 30 and didn't do those training quests, it looks like you're screwed with doing it with your current character in that regard.

@ NotAwesome: it seems so according to what I've dug up in the quest data. No lvl requirement whatsoever for the job-specific quest chain, and there's only a lvl 25 requirement when you first start the Rememberer's trainings (to fight Astaroth).
This is what the first quest in the chain said:

You know, I've always preferred class equips, and have already accepted the fact that I won't be able to properly "earn" the rewards for PQs I did years ago on my main. And it's not so much that these items have amazing stats as it is that they have amazing stats and are easy to obtain and in a limited area.
It wouldn't bother me so much if they were at MAX +7 stat hats and average other items; but these are all just short of end game potential items. Where's the payoff for all those PQs I did to get the level 90 pirate hat? Why am I currently working for so long to get myself a black belt? Why is the best medal in the game given automatically?
These sorts of issues are really getting on my nerves now. I mean, I know that zhelms lost their "value of accomplishment" years ago; but come on! Why go and intentionally make things that should be considered accomplishments far less valuable than a beginner's baseline story.
Now, don't get me wrong here, I like that the story has an incentive and all, so that more people will do it, but this is too extreme.
I know what kind of responses I'll get and I suppose I should just treat this the same way as I did beginner skills, quests, and the introduction of chairs; but for some reason, this time around it is just hard to do.
I anticipate much rage in the waking hours  .

you know that when they do their statistics saying such and such active players they put on the roll call events and the like (refer a friend was just before their announcement that had tons of players) to get people to log on even if they never play on the chars cause they're mules

We shouldn't have to rely on scissors to get everything. I just want the warrior helm for the looks.  And the pirate helm if it wasn't job restrictive.  Props for actually making exclusive content that could be interesting but fail for forgetting that the requirement quests have only existed for about a year. All they had to do was just put in the job requirements like the red dahila quest but they decided to make things overly complicated by throwing in pre-quest requirements.

I'm gonna hold off on the hatred until i actually see how it works in the game, but if it is as stupid as it looks like Maple will loose some more of its appeal to me. If you can get potential endgame gloves, shoes and hat at a level that you can easily get to in hours, I mean what's the bloody point? One of my favorite features in Maple when I first started was the principle of getting to change looks and gear at different levels. Now you are basically sett at somewhere between level 50-100. And that leaves us with 100 levels of the same trash, just upgrading because of a few stats here and there. Pair that with the lack of higher level material and we have a game that has lots to offer the casual player, but nothing to the ones like me who like the game a lot, but couldn't care less if some hacker/cheater scum does a few hundred damage more or are a few levels higher.
If the trend keeps going towards competition in nothing but damage, I don't think even I could take it much longer.
Also, the dam karma status on every goddamn new equip is getting annoying. Untradable should be because you have to earn it, not because Nexon thinks its cool to get a few dollars out of it. Bad form.

The warrior picture does have the Lv80 pirate overall. Compare it to a BannedStory image or an SS ingame. Wouldn't be the first time they took pictures with classes wearing wrong equips.
This really helps the statless classes that don't scroll zhelms and low levels. I hope an episode 2, 3, and 4 come. Then there'll be less complaints. But with items like these coming out for 1st jobbers, imagine the stats for the next items if they step it up a notch each episode. By episode 4 there'll be complaints about Nexon's next game breaking equips. Too early to tell.

Uhmm no im talking about the training quests... I DIDNT RECIEVE THEM. Like i didnt fucking get them at all WHATSOEVER. And i got to 30 in one day using the witches brew...pineapple that I cant do it again.

A Helmet that adds 50 to the classes two main stats along with Avoid and Acc, 10 weapon attack, 500 HP, MP, WDef, MDef, and 20 Speed and Jump! But it has zero slots.
