When you're going through Shallow Keep and come across the rooms with like 10 or so Naiases in a tiny space, you will learn the pain. I think I've only cleared those rooms (on King's, naturally) ONCE without taking damage.

They're a lot easier for me with Steyr, Flamethrower, Fire Pillar, and Stinger. Fire attacks kick their ass.

I like Frozenheart, but it's a pain solo. At least my mob attacks can protect the heart pretty well until Charlie starts attacking. He's a pretty fun boss, I like the sound effects from his attacks. And "ROCKET FIST!"

I like the dude with the giant cat too, very fun fight. Lots of running on my part, but the small map was an interesting change of pace. I'm sure it will get harder though. Using a water element gun on Mount Thunderime? Not great. At least it only has an impact on my melee and default attacks...

And that's why I'm getting Wide Cannon. Also because of the +1 on Steyr.
Hmm.. I got a recipe for Belt of Darkness if anyone wants it. I got most of the stuff as well. Its up for grabs in exchange for a priest wep or some heavy armor Big Grin.

I still love my random freezes. Giant He'etako frozen is a hilarious sight. And I have plenty of salamander flasks to use up, so element isn't a problem. Kaj gave me a bunch of dark element potions as well, so I can swap to them if necessary.
^Potions cover up your weapon's element? And do they work with heavy fire arms?
USMC Wrote:^Potions cover up your weapon's element? And do they work with heavy fire arms?

Heavy weapons are never affected by elemental buffs (weapon, item, or otherwise). There are a few potions that will change your weapon element (Salamander Flasks, etc). Most work for your entire party, not just yourself.
Hmm... right there are elemental imbuing potions... is there a dark one? castellan's fight is boring already taking 1 bar at the speed of a snail...

Yes, but they come from a high level quest/dungeon. Bring a gunner with you, they can Gatling him while he's airborne.
Yay just advanced to Witch on my witch! I need flying lessons...

However if the Boss is where the Zombie is supposed to be, he won't show up.

GO figure! I didn't get the boss to appear down there all those times last night. 5-6 times last night I got the SAME MAP with nothing but Progues. I'm sure that's got to be a record.

Oh I meant if your weapon already inflict "xxxx" damage, does potions still affect it?
USMC Wrote:Oh I meant if your weapon already inflict "xxxx" damage, does potions still affect it?

Yes. It will completely convert the weapon damage to something else, iirc. Bullet buffs, however, still apply, meaning you can use Light Bullets with a Dark gun for a really cool effect.
Cool, should try it sometimes

Posted my thoughts, could be wrong, but it does seem nice.

Newsflash... got sky tower climber and the basics title Big Grin

Now i ran out of quests and im 2 and 1/3 bar away from lvl 26... which dungeon and which difficulty should i run?

sidenote: Light chasers are just evil, upper cut and i get a chaser, send the chaser away, i get attack speed, phase shift, more attack speed... and now with the titles, its just crazy.

I hate battlemages SO much. Lol. For a slow attacker like me, they're a royal biitch, specifically with their ability to slide with their attacks in and out of my range. Stinger still hits em hard though.
Yeah, uppercut if used correctly not only works as a lifter, but also as a defensive skill Big Grin
