So I'm looking for some good rock/metal music. Specifically stuff by Alter Bridge, Killswitch Engage, Motorhead, and Saliva, but if you have any others, that'd be great too.

EDIT : Also adding Rage Against the Machine. I was hoping for specific songs, both by the bands in this post, and any suggestions you have.

I didn't know there were so many divisions to metal. Er, I'll give you a list of the ones I have so far, if that helps.

Disturbed
Killswitch Engage
Saliva
Motorhead

I don't particularly like blues, but any other kind of metal should be fine.

EDIT : How did I forget to mention my love of Rage Against the Machine, even though I have only one song?

I don't know my metal divisions either, but you should certainly look into more RATM.

Try Clutch too maybe. I bet you'd like Clutch.
Also Dethklok. You can't dislike Dethklok.

Edit: Specific songs. Best Clutch song for my money is The Mob Goes Wild. Dethklok... all of Dethklok Goggleemoticon

So I borrowed 12 Dream Theater CDs from my friend today, ripped them yesterday, going to listen to the songs today/tomorrow for awesome ones.

i love the 12 step suite by Dream Theater, it has 5 songs from 5 different albums.

The Glass Prison, six degrees of inner turbulence
This Dying Soul, train of thought
The Root of All Evil, octavarium
Repentance(i like this one a little bit less) Systematic Chaos
The Shattered Fortress, black clouds and silver lining.

Also if you want Dream theater at its finest progressive, i really suggest listening to "Instrumedley" from Live at Budokan.

Dream Theater FTW.
