Need help with new computer

Hello everyone.

I JUST got a new PC and its hooked up and everything but one thing is
wrong; i dunno how enable wireless on it. It's a desktop btw. It is a
HP Pavillion Slimline s5220fPC.

I'm guessing you can't find your wireless network in the list right? Okay so then, what wireless router do you have? I think you'll need to add your MAC address to it to be able to connect.

Does it have a wireless card?

A MAC Address is a special address specified to your internet enabled device. NEVER give anyone your MAC Address.

On the system tray, there should be a little antenna with curved lines and a red X, right click it and select connect to wireless network. Choose your network if it is listed and there ya go.

If its not there, not much i can do without visuals of your desktop and possibly your start menu opened.

Oh dang...And I cant teamview 'cause, well, no internet o_o. The thing is that my internet is not listed, nor my neighbors. NONE whatsoever are listed. I'm wondering if i need to push a few buttons to turn it on?(the internet connection)

I would see if there is any slider on your computer (if you have a laptop, you may know what I mean) that controls wireless on/off. If not, open your control panel (windows) and look around for any wireless card related options. The trusty help menu may be of use as well.

Almost every game you connect to logs your MAC Address. There's nothing you can do with it, it's just like a sort of ID mostly being used for the DHCP.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the slider. My older laptops have it.(It was pretty dam annnoying when your playing with the laptop on your lap and suddenly you turn it off on accident). Well, I'll check control panel. Would it also help if i searched anything after hitting start?
