When they were first created they were meant to be brother and sister, but the developers knowing the f'aggot ass fans would pair them together decided to make them into mirror images of each other.

They would have been better off not creating Rin and Len in the first place since they are the two worst Vocaloids ever. Len being the number one worst, followed by S'hitku, and then Rin.

At least one thing is for certain when it comes to Vocaloids: Luka is the best and will always be the best.

Most of the songs posted in my (unintentional) Vocaloid thread were from Rin and Len.

I am not, I am dead serious. Most of those videos are horrible because the people don't know jack-s'hit about Len's voice and what kind of song it fits into.

Rin is a little better, but Len is the all time worst since he sounds like s'hit in most of his songs because either, a, people can't tune his voice worth a s'hit, or, b, they have him sing a song that doesn't fit his style of voice whatsoever at all.

Reusing the same reactionpic over and over grows very stale, especially when you try to stretch it's use to fit a situation it doesn't really fit well with.

Especially when it's just a quick MSpaint edit of an image intended for 4chan.

A Vocaloid song is only as good as its composer. Comparing a song composed by a novice to a song composed by an expert would be an obvious handicap. You can give them the exact same instruments, but if they don't know what to do with them they aren't going anywhere. If someone was good enough, they could compose a variety of songs using the same instruments, rather than just one specific type of tune.

By the way, I hate when people compare Luka's voice to Len's as well. But I haven't seen much of that, just in youtube comments occasionally. But most comments on youtube for this kind of stuff is crap anyway, so I'm not bothered much by that.

Edit: By the way, I'd like to add that I do believe there is a lack of good songs from Len exclusively. But that by no means makes him a bad Vocaloid. So it's not as if I don't see where you're coming from.
