Free KMS account

Reflexx Wrote:Cant stay a newcomer forever Wink

EDIT: I will give PM's to those that I feel can actually make good use of the account Smile

As most of us know, that generally doesn't happen often.

may i add that anyone that wants to play an aran character should just download maplesea for they will be getting the aran race this november..

I'd rather join kMS than MSEA, just to avoid all the Singlish la.

On-topic : i wanted to try kMS when cygnus got released but episode 2 changed my mind. and aran is coming to msea too. although the community here sucks abit ill stay in sea.

On second thought I dont really want to PM each person so...

What classes do you guys see yourself playing if you join KMS, and how much hours a day do you think you will actually play KMS regardless of timezone?
#25
I think what discourages most people from playing kMS is the language block. Personally, I tried JMS, and not understanding anything was Pineappleing horrible. The good thing about asian versions for me is the time zone, since i live in asia myself. (sorta, middle east counts?)

not understanding the language usually ruins the game, no?
If I understanded korean, I'd play alot, but other wise... it's just not fun walking around when you don't understand anything.

needs more Josh, Tay what cha talkin bout every one loves me.

Here's my opinion about that: Compared to the English that I read, speak, type, and hear every day, it's extremely hard to understand. Singlish tends to have a lot more horrible spelling errors, abbreviations, and words that don't even belong in the English language.

I would rather learn a REAL foreign language than just the butchered version of the language I already speak.
#28
And our version of English isn't butchered to them? They can understand themselves just fine.

Fiel Wrote:And our version of English isn't butchered to them? They can understand themselves just fine.

I wouldn't say butchered but... different, yes. Spanish is different everywhere and people don't complain about the use of ''tu'' or ''vos'' in southamerica.

I'm talking about the 'grammatically correct' English. I'm not very fond of slang or anything. I'd rather have knowledge of the real language than stuff that sounds like a brain dead monkey screaming as it shi'ts out a bolder.

what? i think you misunderstood my post, i was literally saying i would be the person who would just play to try aran's, so therefore invalid to the account. Can't say i'd even play too much, do have things going on irl(just bombed last programming test lol). What i was saying was i wanted to try msea or kms just for a bit, and personally cant figure out how to get msea working (tried hotspotshield, doesnt seem to work) and cant seem to find a KSSN (tried a generator online, and searching randomly in korean google, neither seemed to work).

you seem to want another person who would be in your guy's guild and be playing for a while, which i know i'm not going to be.

and @the singlish comments, i think any proper speakers of a language hate pidgins and to an extent creoles, i mean, from what i understand people from France really dislike Quebecois language, due to similar reasons.

Now now let's not get things heated so quickly. I personally don't see the point of Singlish but since it's become one of their traditional traits, let's give it some respect. They did learn proper English in school (well, I hope).
The only frustrating thing about it is that it's official even amongst adults, if I'm not too gravely mistaken. Sure gMS kids c4n g0 4b0ut t4lk1n 1eik d1s, but apparently not in formal cases. It only bugs me to see them unable to be formal where formality is needed.

Good luck Reflexx. It seems your criteria are a bit too restricting.

I'm not trying to start a heated debate, I'm just trying to state a point.

Yes, I know Americans also have horrible English and I hate it. Yes, people do actually use their horrible English abilities in real, formal classes and I think all of those people should be beaten with a text book until the letters fly off the page and into their brains... Under-educated people's English is quite annoying... I can't understand them 95% of the time and I just walk away. In fact, I've almost been killed for correcting someone's grammar before. lol...

........No... Did you even read what I wrote?

I was talking about Americans. Why does everyone turn things into something against their own ethnicity? Like if you say that a black guy stole an item of your's, it's automatically racist because the person was black... >_>

I'm honestly giving up on this planet. The average IQ is seemingly dropping more and more every day.

To try and get back on topic.

I would love to play KMS. I've played GMS since beta and I feel the community has gone downhill. I've been wanting to switch to KMS or JMS for some time now but just never got around to downloading and doing everything. If given the opportunity, I would jump right over to KMS.

I'm looking for something new, fun (the whole point of a video game), and a game I can actually log on and want to play and not be afraid of dealing with ppl2pass attitudes like that found in GMS.
#39
@Savage, what class do you see yourself playing? What level have you reached in GMS?
#40
I've played once on JMS, and totally loved it, with one exception. Like was mentioned before, i feel the language barrier is way to strong. As I have spoken english only all my life, is it hard for people like me to get by in KMS? I mean, i play a LOT of GMS so i basically know whats what, but I'm still slightly worried that it may be too much for me. I'm currently trying out MSEA, but since i live in Canada the potion and pickup lag is getting unbearable.
