We have recently been alerted by our security team of an image exploit that can potentially harm your computer.

Please be wary of downloading images or clicking on image links posted on the forums. We have temporarily disabled the image upload option and will be removing other image functions as we investigate this security exploit.

For them to be just getting around to telling us now it must have been around for months.

It's probably some sort of an XSS, I doubt downloading images can harm your computer.

1) upload .com or scr to site that requires customers to use IE
2) ???
3) profit

That's just a common browser bug, it's usually done with 65535 pixels high images. A security exploit revolving around IMAGES smells like an XSS\CSRF exploit to me. But it's just Nexon forums, it's not linked to your main account. So this exploit is basically useless.

Next thing you know, they'll remove the edit button... ohwait.

OH NOES! NEXON FOUND OUT I WAS DISTRIBUTING CP IN IMAGE FILES!

Now how am I supposed to deliver CP undercover to all my Maple peps?!
