First I thought the attack belts were temporary, but I just found out they're permanent! So don't you think they should make the dark tokens permanent too? If you can't get a belt before the event ends, you're handicapped for the rest of your MS carreer!

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!
This event is horrible. It should be called "Bring Out the Worst in Maplers" (maybe that's the witch's nefarious plan...) The permanent ks war at all area bosses at all times of day... ugh. A person can't even kill one just to complete a quest, nevermind farm them for scrolls.
The sooner this event ends, the better.
The attack belts can be moved to gachapon (like PAC) or converted to iTCG (like FS), if you want to keep a chance for new people to get them.
If they do keep the Dark Tokens, they need to make them drop from other mobs as well. If they just bring back the drop from Newties, that would make all high-levels go there, and give everybody else a chance at the bosses.

iTCG is discontinued. >.>
But anyhow, they're going to remove the witch at the end of the event anyway, so why would the tokens be permanent.....?

I meant make the event permanent so the witch will have to stay too :3

.......I agree with Sapta here. Although it's a great belt, this event has gotten way out of hand....

The belts should had 1~2 slots on them, and permanent, with the event permanent, with the tokens dropping from more mobs. That way, more people would get a chance to get one, they wouldnt be way over powered, and they would be easier to get. I would scroll the first slot with Str and then chaos the second. Do that til i get an ok mixx of Str and att

"Should" is rather subjective and misleading. I personally don't mind whatever happens to them. They drop from Newt? Cool. They don't anymore? Awww, okay. They're gone when event ends? Kay.

Right but iTCG items are still giving out.
Currently through boxes.

Fixed for you.
An addition to this topic is that I'm still quite pissed about my Belt. Probably I'd want Tokens to stay around for a bit longer.

This is as unspeakably dumb as the drive for more lunchbox events.
Want the event item? PARTICIPATE in the bloody event. Missed it? So what? With that kind of lacking focus you will never close in on the so called top of each class anyway.
Handicapped because you do not do as much damage as player X, who spent a small fortune in real cash to get his perfect gear? Get over it.

Boss monsters drop the tokens, and that's it. You can't even find a fucking boss anywhere in Kradia, so I'd HATE to see what it's like in the more populated servers.
Having only bosses drop the stupid tokens is completely ridiculous. It's a complete KS war at every single area boss, if you can even find one.

We've gone over this since day 1, and I think it's unanimously agreed that the belts are meant to be hard to get/scroll/become godly.
If you'd like to argue I'm going to point out that you still have options to PQ for Tokens. You need 2 people at max to do either KPQ or PPQ, whichever arouses you more, with a condition that you're capable of multi-Mapling. KPQ takes roughly 10 mins each round, dropping 4~6 tokens, PPQ takes 8 mins each round, 3~5 tokens, with an exception of a few PQs you get to fight Enraged/Angry Lord Pirate, who apparently drops more tokens per kill.

A scrolled Black Belt is still as good as a 3 att belt for most physical classes, 4 for Shadowers. It's not really a big "handicap" unless you get your hands on a 7 att belt or higher.
Plus they're still tradeable by SoK, and there will be another ATT belt in the future from Nihal PQ, iirc.
I'm happy with my 5/9/5/5 Black Belt.

I do not wish to argue, as it was just my opinion. Making the belts hard to get is one thing, but I think they should have at least had them drop from certain monsters at a very low rate - giving people more options other than camping out at a boss spawn location, praying someone doesn't come in and steal a kill before the boss is killed.
As Dusk said, the black belt is comparable to an okay scrolled attack belt, and in my opinion - much more fun to get. I could honestly care less whether I can get an attack belt or not - I just wish there were a few more options to obtain tokens other than bosses.

In a way I will be glad when the event is over. I'm getting tired of the ritual:
Spend x days acquiring 250 tokens
Exchange for belt and scroll
Scroll belt. Belt is now zero att, zero matt.
Toss belt.
Start over.

Personally, I have a 2 att 6 speed belt. And I would NOT want any other belt like a black belt. I wanted these belts for the speed ONLY, but if its got attack on it, even better. I would literally take a 10 speed 0 att belt over a 7 att belt.
And they changed the Dojo to the taking damage = bar charge, so getting a belt is long and very tedious, especially for warriors, who HAVE to stand close to a boss.

How did you not know the belt was permanent? If it wasn't no one would be wanting one so badly.

Trying to kill bosses that can actually kill you are horrible for farming points. Farming Old fox -> Crog is best.

I know how to run through the dojo to farm points, it just takes incredibly long, and I still die occasionally because of darkness or seal. The dojo is not fun for me at all.

On the bright side, it would make scrolls and other things bosses drop deflate a lot over time.
