Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
Talking about skill, I have like 3 or 4 skills that need to be leveled and I don't have enough SP..maybe if I can bear it to 35 things would get better
Baklava Wrote:Hey is there anything that resets skills?

I've found that Gatling gun is useless and Mach Kick is badass.

But I have Lv1 mach kick and Lv5 gatling gun.

else i'd have to restart my spitfire. no thx

There's a cash shop item that resets skills. Costs like $25 though.

Derp.

I must restart now.

It's a complete skill reset though. It's more efficient the further in the game you are.

For putting 5 points into gatling instead of 1? Eh, it's your choice, but personally I wouldn't bother. Gatling can be useful, so at least you're getting something for those points.

Then again, I have level 7 punisher when anything higher than level 1 is a waste...

Yea, but I still don't see it as being worth it, with the current cap at least, unless you really mess up your build.

Also, assuming Nexon resets everyone's skills when they do the priest patch(I think it's the same patch that makes Backstep+cancel free, and makes the launching skill cancel free, so I think all the other versions gave free, forced resets), I don't see the skill reset being worth it at all, especially not for something like getting 5 Gatling. No telling when that'll happen, but still something to look forward to.

Baklava, you might want to start using the AradSociety skill planner, if you don't already. Just put in your current build, that way you can see if getting level 5 Gatling really messed you up too much.

I have a lot of useless things like rising shot, land runner, flamethrower, steep slide, and an absurdly high level of jack spike/punisher. L5 Gatling was just an example of many f'uckups.

If everyone gets a free skill reset with that patch though, I guess I'll just continue my spitfire as is. But if they decide not to give people a skill reset, then I'm pretty much going to have to restart.

They might also give one for the female gunner patch hopefully. Also Kyle, what level are you? I need help getting Silver Night Kings road.
Nevermind, ignore this...
Holypie Wrote:Also Kyle, what level are you? I need help getting Silver Night Kings road.

38. Just leveled last night.
FelixTM Wrote:38. Just leveled last night.

Noob-o-meter is 7 levels and up or above 7 levels? If it's above 7 levels can you help me get kings? Biggrin Damn, just checked, 7+... Can you help me when I level?
I found RockStar Leather Shoes.

F'UCK YEAH.

EDIT: Making a new gunner anyway. I want to try Ranger this time. :\
omg, can i buy? they are perfect for my battle mage (the set bonus and stats Big Grin)

Hey, did anyone notice that kazan's skill button looks like death coil from warcraft?
http://wiki.dfo-world.com/index.php?title=Will_Driver Wrote:Your normal Attack Strength also increases although the normal and Jump attack keys become inverted.

Anyone get what that means? I've never played a monk before, so I wouldn't know. What does it mean by the normal and Jump atk keys get inverted?
I have no idea what it means. When you use Will Driver, your attack speed, movement speed, and jump strength all increase(Only by like 10% though, I think. Definitely not 100% like that wiki says). I don't think you actually hit harder(I haven't really hit anything without using Will Driver since I advanced to Monk, I'll have to check later), but your normal attack combo does change a bit(Being 3 straight punches, then an uppercut).

The attack key still attacks, and the jump key still jumps, so I don't know what they meant by that.
Is there any way of avoiding Charlie's slide attack? I get hit by it every time.
Spaz Wrote:Is there any way of avoiding Charlie's slide attack? I get hit by it every time.

I've been able to avoid it most of the time by moving up or down early enough. Have to get lucky or learn to predict his attacks, I guess. Or just play it extra safe around him (if that's possible with your skills).
Air Walk dude, Air Walk.

Oh wait you don't have that...
So the game any fun? Thinking about trying it, maple is getting extremely boring.
GMSInfighter Wrote:So the game any fun? Thinking about trying it, maple is getting extremely boring.

You get a constant stream of quests, to the point where there's only a few actual grind levels. There aren't exactly linear builds with each class, and there's a lot of experimentation. Oh, and you can't exactly spam potions to survive each dungeon, you have to be strategic in certain cases, especially bosses! Oh the skill involved! Speaking of skill, the better you perform, the more XP you get! Yay! And if you die, the only bad thing that comes about it goes away in 10 minutes!

So no it's not fun. Do I need to give you another hint? It's a great game.
