DirectX and Maple Problems

My programs were working fine yesterday but these errors happened when i restarted it after letting it cool down... My comp is Brand new and I re-partitions my Windows side as soon as i had this problem and with nothing but firefox 3.5, IE-8, and Service Pack 3 and this error still occurred.

I have a suspicion they're connected somehow(duh...)

Well, like the error says when you're downloading MS, do you have a firewall running? You might have to change the settings or disable it while you're downloading it.

For downloading Maple:
1. Try clicking on the word "Server" on the error message. After a little while, it should open a tab on your internet browser saying whether or not you were able to successfully connect.
2. If yes for the above, restart your computer and try again. I had that same problem.
3. If no, I don't know what to tell you, sorry. >.>
