I got lucky with Pierce and Snipe books, so that isn't an issue. =/ I found two Pierce 20's for I believe they were 2M each, so I nabbed them. Found Pierce 30 for 5M, then just yesterday I found another Pierce 30 for 350k.

Snipe Books I've had for a while; got them relatively cheap, too.

Perhaps I will start working on both once I get Pierce to at least 11.

Yeah, I started working on both just recently. Like two lvls ago... my Pierce was 10 when I started the 2P:1S build. Part of that was because that was when my guild joined our alliance.

How much is snipe 20/bera btw?

Splitting points between pierce and snipe is never a good idea because 1-28/29 snipe is basically the same thing, so you're just getting stronger pierce much later for almost no difference in snipe.

SO with the new medal, my bowmaster has 4.8 k hp now. Would using honsters be advisable now for HP potions instead of barbs? I know it'll definitely be worth it with HB, but i have reindeer milks i get from pap (800 at least). Any other pots that i should use?

honsters will heal you for 2880, if thats enough for where ever you train then go for it. ales will heal you for 3600, which is decent too.

however if you have that much milk go ahead and finish it before you use some other pots.

You never switched to cheeses? :f6: Or satay, etc. from Singapore? That's hella double potting...
(Not to sound accusatory or anything. I died a lot at skeles using barbs which is why I switched to cheeses, via satay at Newts...)

In case you didn't know: Cheeses heal 4000 HP and cost 4500 mesos in Leafre, El Nath, and NLC... a little more expensive (4600-4700) at Toly in Path of Time.

how do you train at Typhons, and what level is a good time to start (considering I'm a Windarcher, lvl 72, lvl 3 Arrow Rain and maxing it atm)?

I started at Typhons around 80, I think my Arrow Rain was about 18.
I trained there by starting at the center bit with the thorns, then alternating between mobbing everything up and to the left, and up and to the right. Then I go back to the thorns in the center and kill. Kill in center so if you get blown right there's a wall and if you get blown left you don't fall off all the way.

I hear there was autoban glitch at typhons tho, not sure if that was resolved yet.

What kind of gear would a Wind Archer need to be able to train at WindRaiders at level 50 for decent exp? Doesn't have to be great, but good enough that it wouldn't suck.
I know there was a SS on SP ages ago....

I just recently hit 4th job, and I would like some advice on skill builds in the 12x and 13x range. I want to get Sharp Eyes fairly early, as I know a lot of people to party and give it to. I am thinking:
120 - 1 hurricane, 2 SE
121 - 3 SE, start trying to pass SE 20
then get 5 hurricane, try and pass hurri 20, then maybe max SE? Just wondering if this sounds like a terrible idea or anything.

I still would want to get mastery first and ia without mastery is pretty bad. Also, roids and other maps should wait til late 4x or 5x and by then, you should have maxed mastery and close to maxed ia

you want 19 mastery ASAP. i did an iron arrow first build too, and by first ti means first skill after mastery. always mastery siempre mastery please.

Like everyone else said, max Mastery first. Archers' damage sucks at first job, and you don't need to carry that over to second job. Other than that, the build is solid.

by the way, if you really want to save money, you can buy pots at Malaysia that heal 4k hp for 4k mesos, last time i checked.

they suck, all you can do is kill them one at a time or burn pots.

Whys everyone still suggesting max SE so fast? Its only useful to get you into boss runs. I got SE to a long enough buff time and started on other things, seems more useful to go for raw damage over buffed damage.
