Maple fail-download
#1
New computer :] now i can play maple again :] however, maple does not download correctly, i get the error

error code: -2147467259 (unspecified error)

I get that when i start maple, the hacksheild loads, and then it gives me this instead of starting the game.

Ive redownloaded 3 times, ive tried to manual patch it, the only folder i can select that works is the MapleStory one, and that one opens the patcher, and it starts on step [3/3] Creating: base.wiz and doesn't load at all.

Ive seen one other person with this same problem as me, i assume nexon has yet to update the downloader with the new patch info Tongue

One possible thing that might be happening is that your computer and/or internet might not be top notch.

Base.wz sometimes takes a bit longer to begin to load than you might think. If for some reason you leave your comp alone while the patch is running and it goes into standby it might screw things up (it always does that for me, even though I've made sure through the battery setting that it only goes to standby and nothing else happens).

So yeah, just try it again and leave it alone at base.wz, but nudge the mouse every now and again. If after... oh say... 20 minutes it doesn't do anything you can positively say it is definitely a different problem. (Unless you're on... like... dial up or something... which I doubt).

Alternatives are
1) download the whole thing over again
2) download latest drivers just in case (but first make a system restore point... just in case)

You might try installing the iTCG version and patching from there, either through the Auto or Manual.
