Well as you guys have probably known, we had that massive shakeup on the Blessing of the Fairy buff, and I'm raging because since my 8x DK and 14x F/P are on seperate accounts....and well you know where that's gonna go. L> 14 atk buff

A friend suggested to me that for a quick and easy attk buff, make a BW. Should I do that just so I can get a nice damage boost for my DK?

I think it takes too long >_> I tried to make a BW for my NL and it was pretty slow comparative to how little +1 atk matters (10 levels of BW is definitely slower than 1 on the NL, and +5 primary stat is more extra damage anyway)

Happy my 95 DK gets +13 blessing, happier when it hits 100 ;o With the extra acc/atk, I'm up over 50%/hr on 1x exp.

Well, my friend just pointed out how easy one can raise a BW to 4x or w/e level in a day....so.

Raising it to 20 would be worth it, maybe 30... dunno about 40 though.

Okay, so I have 2 possible equip upgrade options since Im done with the f***ing gold boxes:

- Scarlion Hat (DEX). Friend offered to me for 10K (7K initial cost + 3K Karma Scissors). This means that I can get a 3 DEX boost (My Zhelm's 14 DEX), which will put me 11 DEX shy of the DEX requierment for the Crimson Arcglaive. (ATM, I cannot find a run to go with as I'm still in quitting mode)

- Upgrade 9 atk WG via Hammering twice, then scrolling it. Possible 13 atk WG if all works out.

Both cost the same amount of NX to do the job. What do you think I should do?

That, or you can use a good week or two to make a NW and get it to 9x for the buff.
Lvl 0~3x should be within the first 2 days.
Lvl 3x~5x will be a breeze with Vamp, just TW with max Rombot summon.
Lvl 5x~7x will be decent too with the new cpq2, that or you can Typhon + WR at 80% exp per hr on 1x.
7x~9x will take 1 day lol.

How... I'm only getting about 45%/hr with my Dawn Warrior owning gobies like it's nobody's business.. How do you get more? (seriously though, I want more too XD)

I am strong and I can attract low level priests to lure Himes for me ;o Even with one 10 levels higher than me I was getting 45%/hr. But any level they have HS+Teleport is good enough.

BTW, I self-scrolled those gloves since they were 3 atk 4 slot (only had one fail). Yes I could start over, but that'll take some time before I can scroll myself another pair.

I'd like some suggestions on where to train a lvl 70 dawn warrior, please.

Alright, it's been awhile since I've really played MS, and haven't logged on for about 2-3 months now and am really just coming up to speed with most of the new content.

Ever since I got my DrK to bossing levels, 140, I've always considered DPS to be my number one concern. That being said, my obvious choice of weapon were Sky Skis for their additional attack speed (the accuracy was just an added bonus). With the introduction of Maker and Reverse Items, the margin between DPS with a Ski and a Slow spear has significantly closened. Testing has shown that Skis are 10% better (approximately) than slow spears. I have a 120 attack Sky Ski, hammered that I've used for a little over a year now that was scrolled for me by a friend, it has it's material value as well as a sentimental value, so I don't really want to part ways with it unless it's absolutely worth it.

Excluding all other gear and only taking into consideration the attack of the spear, all one needs for a slow spear to be the equivelant of my Ski is a 132+ slow spear or better.

I'm more or less at a place of indecision. I don't know whether to sell my skis (I have some ridiculous outstanding offers on them) and Maker and mass scroll Pinakas (average cost per spear using a Stimulator, Advanced Diamond, and Intermediate Black Crystal is approximately 45mil). If I do this I am hoping to come up with something close to 138+ (I know, that's extreme, but I set high goals).

Should I stick with my Sky Skis, or sell them and fund mass scrolling Pinakas?

Also, using the Crystals and stim stated above, what is the max possible clean attack on a Pinaka that I can obtain?

What's your funds without selling the sky ski because it might be better to 50% spam on one sky skii with white scrolls since they've dropped to 150mil (both) so 300mil per scroll, if you had max mesos you could easily end up with a 13x att.

The thing is I already know players, a dozen in fact with 120+ sky ski's..it's becoming a standard and much easier to get, you probably won't get the same offers.

The main problem with your comparison is that you aren't factoring in all your other gear

all attk needs to be factored into this comparison

once you do that youll see you most likely need atleast a 135 slow spear to match

but wait....add an apple on top of that -- 10% of 100 attack means you need even more attack on your slow spear

so youre looking at probably a 145 attack slow spear

if that seems reasonable to you then go for it -- but typically just mass scrolling nakas wont do it -- and remember that 145 is to match your current sky ski -- not beat it

youll need to forge a reverse and go to town with ws and some 50% spear scrolls

so remember -- for future reference -- compare both full attack set-ups and then add in the 10% difference -- the gap between skis and slow spears is getting smaller -- but for all but the most funded the gap still exists especially in a situation that involves apples

edit: with an intermediate bc the max youre looking at is 112 attack

It's not that I forgot, I was just trying to create a baseline for peoples understanding. I, along with others, don't think the "10% better" statement is accurate. My friends and I have tested this numerous times with both audio and visual testing and have never gotten the 66 attacks per-minute with crusher.

For the sake of my question though we'll agree that it is.

My current gear is:

120/13 sky skis
17 gloves
11 MoN
7 FS
9 PAC
No belt since I'm still not playing very much.

So I need approximately a 136 attack naka to beat my DPS with the ski. The only issue is that the group I HT and Zak with doesn't use apples. Only people that do are the NL's so they can KS and get better exp. So the large majority of my bossing (excluding pap, BF, and zak solos) are done without apples.

I don't have very much funding right now since I spent around 800mil between buying earings, mask, and scrolling bottoms. I'm sure I can make the mesos if I start merching a lot, but that's never really been my forte. I do, however, want to buy all the pair of 100 attack clean skis that are in the FM and try my luck at making a perfect pair eventually.

How useful is Enrage really? Does it make a significant difference in bossing/training?~

It's nice for a bit increased DPS while bossing, but it's not useful for me at all for training.

My general opinion of it is that it's okay...nothing fantastic, though. I sometimes wish I went rush first (for faster training), but oh well.

I just made a Warrior, and I'm going to try and get it to a Hero.

Are there any suggested builds out there that I could use?
