It's hard to post good songs when everyone else posted so many good ones. I could post more Touhou, but everyone's heard all that. Here's some stuff from LaTale that maybe you haven't heard.

I like Bird against the Storm better, but they're both excellent. You can actually download their entire OST straight from the Korean website, here. Click the pink button near the top of the list to download the whole thing, or click the right (darker blue) button next to any song to download just that song.

I whole-heartedly approve of this thread. Video game music is some of the most underrated, unappreciated music out there. There are some real diamonds in video game music.

Black Dino+ Azala were the first bosses to use this theme. The most Epic fight ever. Then came human Lavos.

I can't agree with you more.
Also, because most of the songs I LOVE were just posted, I will just say I love most of the Castevania sountracks, some Pokémon ones and many MapleStory ones.
Yeah. MapleStory.

Also, it's hard to take it out of the context of actually playing the game, but I loved how the overworld theme had different variations for different parts of the overworld and it would smoothly transition from one variation to another as you moved.

You guys picked a lot of the ones I was going to post. I guess I could always post mixes of some songs.

SMPRG had some of the best battle themes, for sure. Heh. Another boss-battle theme that tends to be overlooked, is some of Digimon World 3's battle themes. Played this and beaten it, and unlocked Diaboromon, BlackWarGreymon, and even Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. This was about a good 5 years ago or so. I remembered my team line-up had the 'leader of the group' kinda Digimon from all 3 seasons ; Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon.

Why has no one mentioned Guilty Gear? I've never even played the game and I know it has epic music. Here's Awe of She as I first heard it (might be a slight remix). It's also known as Dizzy's Theme. Nevermind the maple stuff, the video is very old.

By the way, I could never find the exact mix of this song. I'm pretty sure it's based off of the Guilty Gear X version, but whenever I find it the tempo is slower and a few background instruments are different. If anyone knows where this exact version is, that'd be great.
