Valkyrie Sky

First things first, Valkyrie Sky is an MMOShmup.

Yes, the Touhou kind of shmup.

The game kind of seems like the shmup equivalent how DFO managed to make an MMO out of the beatemup genre. A CBT is opening for the US version of the game on October 21st, but the vague Engrish announcement posted on their message board seems to imply that anybody signed up for an account will get in.

But yeah, looks legitimately cool. Hopefully my laptop doesn't completely die trying to run the game.

Eh, played this game for about 20 minutes. It was okay. Dungeon Fighter Online has more of my interest at the moment.

The overworld is by far the best part of the game.

Also, the game ramps up in difficulty severely by the time you reach the second map. Or maybe I should get a computer that isn't a five-year-old laptop.

Very entertaining game!

I'm a lvl7 Mage now , though I gotta say, playing it with a gamepad makes playing it a breeze!

I'd be playing (with a gamepad, like Devil), but my verification code didn't send, and I can't find out how to get a new one...

What kind of e-mails are you guys using? My aol.com and mail.com accounts aren't getting the e-mail.

This game is the first one that's seriously made me consider getting a pad.

Also, I'm getting owned every time the Cocatrice uses that attack that makes ring-shaped bullets that then explode outwards - how are you supposed to avoid that?
