So uhh.... Anyone here with a Mech?
Right now I am at lvl 13.
I need help on how to use it to the max of my abilities. Right now Im employing the use of the launcher abilities to unleash a long range starting power attack followed by rushing in to the crowd and spawning bots and then using my leet jumping and dashing abilities to attack and kill the enemy (with normal jump attacks)
In addition is it better to NPC weapons or dismantle them for cubes? Im saving up moneys for the theif class which I really want to play when it comes out.

NPC the white ones for money. Also, since you're low lvl, you'd mind as well NPC the blue stuff too (although there are a few quests that have pretty steep cube requirements). There are additional quests that give cube fragments as rewards, and they're mostly repeatable, so watch out for those.

NPC whites. For blues, it's your call as to whether you'd rather have the cash or the cubes. Shoes and Belts tend to be worth less than other armor. With blues, there's a small chance of getting a LOT of cubes from a single disassembly, enough cubes that it'll be more than the cubes from all the other disassemblies put together. Purples or better, sell on dfosource or with a shop permit.

Yes, that's normal. The 10def/1att ratio is for same level combatants. The ratio is altered in favor of whoever is higher leveled, to my understanding. PvP seems to work in reverse, where lower leveled people see a buff to their damage. Their armor, however, remains the same.

Got 44 Halloween Decorations today. How'd everyone else do? I'm glad they're kind of rare. It'll spread the quests out over a few days. Ran out of fatigue at 90.4%... Finally gonna level again tomorrow.
Now I have to kill another two hours before I can play MS.

Getting vine roots is gay denroid is a horrible dungeon..sometimes the boss takes 3/4 of my hp out of no where, and grab immune is just no fun..Plus remade my launcher and can't get off it :<
Edit: Oh is there a way to to tell who whispered you? I already find the "whisper" box on top of the chat box flashing blue after a while of playing, and never know who whispered me

Try clicking on the whisper chat channel (NOT the flashing one) and you should see who it was, unless you received so many info notices that the whispers got deleted.
I have 100+ roots. Figures that the trees would keep showing up >_>

I got 44 using up all my fatigue. Pretty rare. I was getting only a couple (sometimes one) per dungeon. The very best was 10 in one Purgatorium full clear.

Yes! It makes me wonder why so many games don't have buddy chat...what's the point of buddy someone when you still have to whisper him :< And it's even worse in DFO, the one you buddied won't even get a notice, and will never know you buddied him if you don't talk to him

Yeah, that's the one major gripe I have with this game. Communication SUCKS.

I dunno. I love the buddy and chat setup in DFO. I never have to deal with buddy invites and the drama that follows from refusing them. Never have to see buddy chat (hardly ever see ANY chat for that matter, which is great). Rarely get disturbed by anyone. I love it.
But that's me... lol

I don't think you have permission to speak on this considering you're a lone wolf by choice =x I also respect you as a person, which is why I haven't already spammed you with crap in the mornings when I try Temple Apostasy dungeon runs.

Is there a way to exit dungeons without completing it? I made the mistake of entering Shadow Thunderland on normal mode and didn't want to waste time, so I purposely let myself die. THEN I found out about a fun little stat called "frustration". Ffffffffffffffff------------ That took me even MORE time to eliminate than if I just cleared normal mode and hopped back to Expert Road or higher.
No, I will not pay 8k gold to eliminate frustration from the tavern lady.

Yes, you can. Should be an option "Return to Town" or "Back to Town" or something in your menu. However, it will still induce frustration. You can't escape frustration unless you complete the dungeon.
