Don't you love the feeling of gaining a hard-earned level? We do too! So to celebrate that special feeling of accomplishment, we're offering all Maplers a extra reward for reaching new leveling heights.

From 10/22/2009 to 11/10/2009, whenever you reach level 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 you will receive an in game message of congratulations and one of these great Cash Shop prizes:

* Megaphone
* VIP Teleport Rock (5)
* Safety Charm (5)
* Henesys Hair Coupon
* Ludibrium Hair Coupon
* Black Kitty Pet
* Brown Puppy Pet
* Facial Expression

But level up a little more and the prizes get even better! Reach level 75, and every five levels after, and you will receive a Cash Shop Surprise!

All you have to do is level up, so go on some quests, join a PQ, or simple hunt the mobs of your choice. Now is the best time to level up in MapleStory!

It's because once people get a free pet, they'll want items to go with it. Once people experience not losing exp with a safety charm, they won't want to go back.

So yeah, basically they're just giving them a small hit of crack for free in hopes they'll like it and want to buy more.

So now our chat box will be spammed with Gacha Box announcements, Gachapon announcements, smegas, item smegas, and now people reaching level 30. Are we ever going to be allowed to have a conversation again?

Next thing you know the chat boxes look like CNN news.

Cute event. Too bad I already buy NX occasionally (and obviously nowhere at the rate NX whores buy em).

Why is everyone complaining about CS surprise spam? It says you get a cash shop surprise per ever 5 levels after 75. Singular, 1 cash shop surprise per every 5 levels. I doubt we'll be spammed with many of those. Most people will only get 1m per level, since they'll be getting Bronze sacks.

Edit: Oh, I see. When I read "congratulations message" I interpreted it as it just giving you a client side message. But everyone is seeing it as server side message, which I just thought about now. I thought everyone was raging over the CS surprise giveaway.

Because if there's prizes to be won, people will try to win them. Look at the Cygnus Knight event. People leeched their KoC to 120 to get that prize.

Though, I think that people would leech to get their KoC to 120 regardless if there was a prize or not, the prize was certainly extra incentive to do so.

I personally find the prizes worth while, there will be people who do.

More incentive to level up fastly for those goods (before the event expires) and annoy the rest of us people who do actual work.

400m+ Experience for Cash Shop crap? gtfo, Nexon. At least for lvls 130+ it's ridiculous.

I got to 135 and got nothing
