Since when have you seen a botter that's not a hacker (besides the FM mules and autoclickers)?

I'd like them, but I'm pretty sure somebody's gonna go, "hay wut dis??" *attack*
Attacking anti-bot monsters return you to the nearest town, right? I'm not so sure.

So does everyone in KMS know how to get rid of the anti-bot monsters?

Yeah, it's not terribly complicated. They pretty much just come in three varieties:
1. Talk to an NPC - Disables the return to town skill and enables the monster to be killed.
2. Drop an ETC on the tomb - Disables the return to town skill and enables the monster to be killed.
3. Destroy a reactor - Use regular attacks to destroy a reactor, which will either kill the monster outright, or disable the return to town skill and enable the monster to be killed.
if it's an NPC, you'll see it on the minimap as soon as you enter. If it's an ETC one, then you'll see that structure and you can hover your mouse over it to find out what item you need (usually an ETC from the monsters that spawn naturally in the map). If it's a reactor, you can just see that, they're usually very large.

But how would a newbie know that you kill them this way? Is there an NPC that teaches you?

As I said, hover your mouse over the reactor/shrine and it'll give a short little description, like the boogie destroyer at Land of wild boar. If you can't figure it out from that then you have no hope. Also whenever they are released they usually do a notice on that version's website explaining how to get rid of it. Besides, all of them are 40-60, if you haven't heard of it in 40 levels then you really are in trouble.XD

Ah...I see. Do these guys give experience or have any drops? (I don't think anyone's said anything about this...right?)

Oh. That sucks. No point in hunting them then, except for monster book.

Ah that's nice. Does that mean the bot-catching monsters are as strong as the surrounding monsters?

From what I see, the hacking in MS has really died down. We don't really need them, but, Nexon is notorious for adding useless things.

Do they have elements? Are there any affected by heal?

You guys should just check the page on strategywiki about bot-catching monsters. It explains in general what they do and in detail how to get rid of each one.

I'd much rather Nexon "implement" something where if you spam a skill in place for too long, you won't be able to use that skill unless you move around a little bit. I think a few Bishops have had this happen to them and I'm pretty sure that's it's already implemented. Just lower the amount of attacks someone can do in the same spot to something like 50 or so.
That should simplify things.

What you're talking about, Bacon, has been in MS as long as I can remember. Hacks easily ignore it though...
