Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

How could I not notice? I've always noticed. Dang, stop always talking with your stupid condescending tone. I'm tired of it. My point was it's ANNOYING AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED. I can frickin FLY and reach higher points than any other class. I should be able to fly over crap instead of hitting a nonsensical invisible barrier. It's never boned me so hard as it did in the Lab. I was venting. Plain and simple.

And I got what was coming to me? What the hell? Because I liked a dungeon that you didn't? Jesus Christ.

It's amazing how much just one dungeon has ruined my mood. I can't stand this Lab. Man. I'm actually pissed right now. Start the day with this crap, go to EXTRA FUN classes and then come back and deal with this crap again. Frickin frick. Tired of this octopus garage. What designer had such a raging boner for octopus that NEARLY EVERY DUNGEON IN BEHEMOTH AND APOSTASY HAVE FRICKIN OCTOPUS EVERYWHERE? NOT JUST ONE KIND. TONS OF KINDS. BIG ONES. LITTLE ONES. ONES THAT SPIN. ONES THAT ENTER YOUR HEAD (seriously). ONES THAT SPIT ALL KINDS OF CRAP. ULTRA BIG ONES. MORE SPINNING ONES. FRICKIN PEOPLE WITH OCTOPUS LEGS. OCTOPUS.

WOW. I thought it was so nice to be out of Behemoth. LOL RIGHT. FOOLED ME. LEAVE OCTOVILLE ONLY TO ENTER OCTOHELL. BRILLIANT. This is the first day I'm actually considering not using up my fatigue. I went from having a nice stock of HP potions to TWELVE (yes, 12) because of a few runs through one dungeon. AWESOME. I thought I played games to escape stress.

To all other DFO players: Save yourself the trouble and avoid the Temple of Apostasy. Just keep leveling in Behemoth and wait for the next area. Frick.

I simply hate how poorly animated they are (LOL FUZZY OCTOS WE ARE TOO LAZY TO REDRAW/RESIZE CORRECTLY) and the lack of "downed" animations (impossible to tell if one is about to jump on you). The guaranteed 3 hits or so when they DO hit you + leaving you open to attack afterwards from any number of uglies = BLARGH for gunners. I end up equipping a bowgun just to guarantee a stray miss doesn't up and kill me.[/COLOR]

Used my last fatigue on a full kings run, boss down to last bar, died, no token

UGH, 0 hp potions until I level to 36 and can use the expert potions, and what quests do I have? GBL Arad Branch Master's and GBL laboratory. I burned all my tokens on a GBL Arad Branch Master's solo attempt that FAILED. A bunch of my hits came from the fact that north room exits have a little vertical wall that stops if you're running by. Elemental bullets are useless when the monsters move up and down too much. I use up the 10 bullets without getting a hit.

Got to the boss of the laboratory, but I got owned in less than 60 seconds. Got pinned by an icicle, then another icicle, then another...

0 hp pots, not a lot of mp pots, 0 life tokens, bleh.

On a positive note, I bought a level 35 bowgun, whee, 10% more damage.

New personal record: Hydracle (AKA OCTO RECOLOR #3948273) just did 1076 damage to me.

This game looks pretty awesome. But i looked thru some forums and cant really find any good explanations on the classes. Anyone wanna give me a brief lay down of the classes.

I'm looking at a grappler or ranger.
How do they both play/work.

I surprisingly DIDN'T use all eight of my final pots. Left the dungeon, completed the quest and was ready to finally smile.

The funny part is this quest comes after she asks you to complete it 3 times on Master's. Then she asks for basically the exact same thing, only 4 more times. Yeah, hilarious.

Electrocution does X damage over Y time, I have no clue about cursed

Actually Electrocution does X damage every time you get hit. For my Suplex Thunder electrocution, every time I hit the enemy, it does 100-ish damage or so.

I'm assuming you're soloing, if so, just find some people to party with. Anything gets raped easily in a party of 4. Lag and noob taken out of equation.

Welcome, bro.

You can buy from all jobs. Whatever works best for you. All of your points reset when you advance (18). That's when you actually have to worry about how you spend your points and focus on your actual job.
