HayO Zakum solo 31/07/08

Hi every1,

As I said I was going to solo zak once I work serk30 so I did :] . Hope this shows Drk's arent just HB Mules. The whole thing took me 1hour and 48minutes.

Thanks to Jessie, Doug, Tran, Dave and my sexy sin on laptop for helping me in altar :]

On the arms I used : 1x 140att pot and 2x 120att pot
On the body's I used: 8x 100att pot
Also used some cakes for speed and jump, other pots I used you can check yourself by checking first and last screen since there all on quickslot.

Current 4th job skills at lv169 :
19 MW
10 Rush
25 Aura
1 Hero's Will
25 Hex
30 Stance
10 Beholder
0 Achilles
30 Berserk
0 Magnet

The summon. Guildy went with me in altar to frap the whole thing to bad he had a BSOD at like 1st/2nd body so he didnt catch the whole thing.


Some nice damage done with the 140att pot highest I'v seen was in 48k I think.


1st arm down, yes with half exp curse >:o.


2nd arm down.


3rd arm down.


4th arm down.


5th arm down.


6th arm down.


7th arm down.


Last arm down, as you can see I just used my first apple a sec before body started so since demon elixer is 8min and gelts 10min each all arms where 28mins.


First body down, start of 2nd.


Second body down, start of 3rd.


Third body down.


Better pic of drops, Stance30, 116 Dimon wand, 46/6 Craven and 2 helms which dissapeared since I allready got a +10 70%'d zhelm.



Think this went pretty good for a first time solo the first body was really a peach kept deffing up every sec. I frapped the whole thing but theres 7 files of 4gb and one of 1.7gb and since I dont know pomegranate about video's I need to find out how to make m smaller first. :]

Gratz on the zak solo and the somewhat nice drops (most other zak solos Ive seen have gotten crap drops, lol).

I remember Kevin partying with your sin at himes the other day where we had that "Can I make it from aqua to Mushroom Shrine in 1 minute" bet. Dont know if you remember but I won, getting there in 56 seconds xD

As for video making, I suggest you get the program "Sony Vegas" (7.0 and 8.0 both kinda work the same so either will do) and just edit your video there. Then save it in the .wmv format at 3 mbps and that'll cut it down drastically (but your quality might be gone as well). Ask Roy (KorizMage) about it. He knows a lot more about this stuff than I do.

If I remember correctly the first DrK to solo Zakum was BSUCLA (and if someone can confirm this, I'm not 100% sure) he was the first in GMS to solo Zakum. And yeah, if a Zakum solo gets 4% at that level I have decided I don't want to get to that level.

Anyways, Gratz Hayo. I see you in a lot of boss fight screenshots, but I personally want to see you solo Anego, the boss designed for ranged classes.
