Smoking cigarettes vs cigars/cigarillos

Ok, so I apparently have a habit of SMOKING cigars/cigarillos now (and sometimes cigarettes, but only Menthols). So I heard with cigarettes, you're supposed to inhale through the cigarette, and then down to your lungs, correct? If this is the case, I technically never did it the right way anyways, I inhale through the cigarette and release it out of my mouth, though slowly..

As for cigars, I do that as well ^. I heard it's also less lethal to 'not' inhale it directly to your lungs, and people asked me "You don't get that nicotine boost if you don't inhale it though.."

So I responded with "Really? I do, but I just don't inhale it to my lungs, because I know better."

Personally, I prefer cigarillos, since they are small cigars, and some are nicely scented. I prefer Berry scented ones. I tried cigarettes too, but I don't like them as much since they don't last too long... and if I do take cigarettes, it's only Menthol.

you're going to kill your lungs if you inhale it, but yeah some people i know do that. though they taste like pomegranate whether you inhale or not.

Yeah. Try finding advice elsewhere. Athough I do strongly discourage smoking, but it's kinda hopeless for you now since you're probably addicted.

No. You can breath-in (inhaling) it directly to your mouth, but release by your mouth. So it's technically not going in your lungs.

Of course it is going to your lungs, just not as much. The point of taking it down the lungs is to get the "fix" of the nicotine. "Mouth smoking" is kind of like saying I do Ecstasy because the pills tastes good.
Quit while you can though. I smoked for 8 years, quitting was a peach, and even now, 3 years later, I still get a weird "sucking" sensation in my lungs occasionally.

It makes me sad watching people die from cancer. All four of my grandparents died from smoking. None lived past 65.

One cigar is equivalent to ten cigarettes; not only because of their size, but also because cigar smoke has been shown to be much more toxic than any secondhand cigarette smoke. Enjoy your cancer.

Anyone who tries to justify smoking is just too ashamed to admit that they've got a problem. If that isn't the case, then it's just flat-out ignorance.

Well as far as I know smoking is additive, you see all the people in my university doing it and makes you want to try it to "fit". I decided not to ever smoke after my grandpa died of lung cancer. And to this day I've never tried smoking.

The least lethal way to smoke is to not.

Oh, so I'm not smoking a cigarette correctly? Awesome. That's what was intended (also why I prefer cigars).

Also, I don't care about the 'cigars/cigarettes are toxic' crap in this thread, I already know all about that.
