Haunted House II Preview 2

A new mansion PQ, eh? Hopefully it's not a strict requirement of 20-70. I just hope the Mansion update doesn't change around the good maps, such as pure Psycho Jack, Nightmare, and V/Hoodoo spawn. But then again, MP3 rapes V/Hoodoos any day. And on a side note, perhaps those new mobs can be better training that V/Hoodoos. Maybe.

I hope they make the mansion easier to navigate. I cant stand trying to get around in that place, its the biggest reason I don't go there.

Maybe this year we will get this medal. Curse Breaker medal +4 AllStat / +2 Hands / +10 Speed / +5 Jump

What the hell. An event medal that trumps all currently existing perma medals? pineapple that.

I'm happy and disappointed at the same time.

Happy because there's going to be a totally new expansion (possibly permanent) of the Haunted House with new cool monsters and hopefully a new and even cooler storyline.

Disappointed because.. well, I was actually expecting a sequel of the Jonas Prendergast storyline.. but I guess I was wrong. I guess we can say bye-bye forever to the Prendergast family. Their spirits were put in rest, so be it. I liked that storyline, though.. Ahhhh.. I just hope that this new storyline will be just as good (possibly better) and that the new maps will be cool.. and it won't only be a temp Party Quest. I must admit, though, that the monsters look cool.

Yeah, I mostly care of the storyline.

Oh well.. goodbye Prendergast Mansion.

Why is everyone saying they hope it won't only be until level 70?
Based on Nexon's comments, it looks like there'll be 3 versions of this quest (or pq, whatever it ends up being) 20-49, 50-69 and 70+

I hope there is a Haunted House area boss that is original and permanent!

Permanent original content > Temporary event.

Face it, there are no more useful places to release. It's not like there are high level realms waiting in the wings to be released. Time Temple is the highest there is for now and we have it already. What would you rather be getting? The low level Pyramid PQ? The low level Mushroom Castle? Weak Balrog boss? The only worth while content we don't have yet is Aran, and it's way too soon for that.

So what will you be having then? Gaga's lame-ass pop star dreams, or a completely new and unknown area?

How about Neo Tokyo. Msea has it, so there is a chance we'll get it too.

70+ usually means like appropriate for level 70-90...

I bet the surprise set up is a key to the new rooms and if you miss the event you don't get to go to the new rooms till next year.

GMS Players - wah wah wah. I have no idea at all what this brand new unseen content is but I hate it.

I enjoy all the original GMS content. So I’m looking forward to this. The original mansion didn't have anything spectacular or amazing in it but it was still a lot of fun so I hope this will be too.

Oh and people really need to get over the pay to enter thing.

Aye, I don't want to get my hopes high up on that medal. It would be really nice if it was in the patch... and even moreso if it was perma. If both were the case... I'd so commit energy into getting that thing ASAP... which I should be doing too for that Black Belt...

The medal isn't permanent,it lasts for one month.
The timer is not shown in the quest,because it has not been finished yet.
And second,what's wrong with the coloring in those images?
I'm just hoping that is just a sketch,because sincerely,there should be too much lazy to finish the coloring and just using the paint buket tool to fill out the space with only one color?
This isn't MapleStory's style for this,i'm really hoping this to be a sketch.

I personally wouldn't appreciate Nexon just stealing my work, even if it was based on their characters. Unless they offered some sort of payment/reward for it, or at least had the decency to credit.

We do have a chance, if we get Kaede Castle first. You need to have that to get access to neo tokyo.

I will be happy if we get the patch next week... and hopefully we'll get Kaede before the end of the year if we're lucky.

Just from everything we've heard about it, it doesn't sound like anyone's going to be training there. It's apparently incredibly difficult to even get to and most of the monsters' do damage that will OHKO most classes until 17x+. Don't make it overrated, there are a lot of problems with it. Is it possible we'll get it? Of course. Is it something to look forward to? If you're in the top .01% of players and belong to a class with HP, sure.

as for Aran, it's "too soon" from a Nexon point of view. We only just got Cygnus two months ago, or have you forgotten? We haven't even moved to the race select screen yet, or updated Blessing skill.
