That was more epic than the one time I edge-guarded at the Fountain of Dreams on Fox, and my one friend was playing as Captain Falcon. I quadruple Shine'd him in mid-air to the right of the map, slightly off edge. He kept getting back up, so I shined him over and over. My heart was beating like a motherfker.

PS: Yes, the sound was annoying, but the timing of the hits was really synchronized, so I thought it was awesome.

Yeah, I'll just go back in time, take a video, upload it, and post it. Give me a few minutes as I prepare my flux capacitor.

If you can do that, you're pretty bad-ass, bro. I'll help make the flux capacitor!

He can just borrow mine if he wants. It's all warmed up since I was using it the other day to go rewrite some history so my grade on a test would be a 100.

Old video is old.

Nevertheless, I heard it made an impact on Melee tourny goers.

I'm sure it did. That's why when I went to tourneys, I always saw 2v2 with Capt Falcon + Fox/Falco group combinations a lot. As far as tourneys went, I hated playing against a Captain Falcon, personally. I use Fox 99.99% of the time, so my strategy is pretty easy to memorize, and most of my teching involved Shining.

Also, this vid is also old, but him along with Ken (when Ken played Fox more) was two of my idols when I started playing SSBM competitively:

Someone doesn't appreciate the act of coining new terms. If you looked up the origin of the word "quiz", I'm sure you'll understand =)

I wombo, you wombo. He, she, me, wombo. Womboing. Wombology, THE STUDY OF WOMBO? It's first grade.

It sounds the same, although spelled differently.

Lol all the new people thought zelgadis was crazy good when they see shined blind. But in most matches, he wasn't actually that good, more around average =|. When I first found advanced techs he was one of my favorites too, until I saw silentwolf (most technical player in the world probably), shiz, zhu and etc.

Mango's in another world apart from these guys.

no, see, no. just no. ok, so, if i were to say "SHAPABLOOIE" and scream that everytime i superman that ho, then, just scream it to the heavens (read: 4chan /b/), then eventually everyone will start screaming it as a salute to supermaning their respective ho's, whilst giving the nazi salute?

no, ok, no. some words are made for nonsense, some for a reason, and some like that vile are uttered for sheer lulz and idiotry. dont ever say that to me, or ima pray to the gods to make my pimp hand strong, and guide it swiftly across this ho's face, so that she may learn her ho place.

American English is a deviation of British English, complete with new terminology, phrases, words, and pronunciation. You can find many different dialects in the USA, alone. Do we argue whether hoagie, hero, grinder, sub, or torpedo should be used to describe large sandwiches?

Culture would be boring if it weren't for innovations in speech.
