platypi. Almost every single Purgatorium run I've done has been a full clear. I'd love to help you, but I can't today. I'm usually out of fatigue by early/mid afternoon. If you wanna wait until morning... lol

As a ranger, I suck. I can't even manage to get an A on Purgatory normal. :|

Anyone know what I'm to do or any good/decent tips?

Make sure you do all quests!

And make sure your quests are for the same dungeon, so you can finish in 1-3 runs.

If you don't know where to get quests, press "N", and walk to the scroll signs.

I don't understand this. I've seen this said a few times around DFO forums. Do people just really suck at playing MMORPGs? Do people think you shouldn't have to level in DFO? What is it? I'm not picking on you; I'm really curious. I'm amazed by all the whining/people saying it's hard to level I've seen in this game. Even the levels without quests (which are very few) are insanely fun and QUICK. Dungeons are fun. Period. It's not like grinding at all. Each run, even if you've done the dungeon several times, feels like a fresh experience/challenge. It's enjoyable and goes by fast.

Maybe it's me... I don't know. Every day I look forward to getting on DFO and using up my fatigue. The hours fly by and I have a great time. I've even done almost everything by myself (done very few dungeons with a party, and even then it's with one other person for only a couple runs). I wish we had at least 300 fatigue. I'd still use it up daily.
Well I got off my lazy arse and managed to do a full Master run, using up all my coins. Wasn't too hard, but it was majorly intense.

Hunters and Alex = not very melee friendly.

If Jahilde the Nemesis didn't start next to me with THREE Alexes, I'd have my way with him.

Ah the beauty of being a Witch.

Unrelated discussion: COMBOS. What's everyone's highest? I got a 201 hit combo in Silver Night Master's today. I want some stronger monsters so I can break 300. Massive mob control. Do you dig it?
I can never do proper mobs on my Monk because I do so much damage. Hate it now, but on my Spitfire I did rack up some nice combos.

I've done well over 450 with flamethrower + no weapon combo. Between flaming mobs of 10+ and spamming bullets, a weak slinger can get some insane combos.

Also, holy shiit moment here - got it +10 from a pot, felt lucky.

Look at the jump in piercing damage from 10 to 11 O.o

3xx with grenade + flame thrower to the little dragons in dragon nest.

That's pointless. Anyone can combo if they can't kill for crap (like taking their weapon off). I'm talking about using your skills to their fullest and still pulling off the big mothers.

It increases style, so eh. Biggest combo with my then best weapon equipped was roughly 320.

Also, with the 1/10 damage to def ratio, 116 piercing damage essentially negates 1160 physical defense. Wow.
MasPan Wrote:Look at the jump in piercing damage from 10 to 11 O.o

Wow! Talk about high risks for better rewards! I think I'ma do that with the regular boxing gloves I find xD On that note, maybe there's hope for armor damage reduction after all.

Pointless achievement is pointless. If you really did what you said to do, you'd die in three attacks from the boss anyways.

btw in case you're wondering my highest was 100 from murdering GBL peeps.

For me, doing the same dungeon by myself ~35 times in a row (all of level 32 + most of level 33) does start to get a bit boring. I love doing quests. It's questless levels or levels with only one quest that are a bit annoying. Don't get me wrong, it's not *that* bad, it's just a lot less fun than levels with quests and new dungeons. I too lol at people complaining that we get less exp/need more exp than other versions because there's really only a couple levels like 33 with 0/1 new quests and no new dungeon.

Gunners can't really do "real" combos. Exception: Jack spike + regular attack spam + rising shot + regular attack spam on an enemy against a wall. Gunner skills don't chain together.

Sortof. We can get a lot of hits in, but it takes a bit of range, a bit of luck, and having enemies lined up perfectly. But most of our attacks are "this hits you for several ranged hits, and if you're still on the same plane, switch to the next attack." Also, I'm thinking of trying for +12 once I get a bit more money. I won't risk beyond that. I'm thinking, based on the jump from 10-11, that it would be appx 180 piercing phys, which is a negation of 1800 defense. Which is absurd. Esp considering most of my skills are physical (though not heavily % based).

I managed a 124 hit combo when I was level 14 on my Priest.
You know, just for the heck of it, I'ma waste resources on reinforcing my Bone Light Lower Armor xD

Reinforcing from lvl 8, it told me my inventory was full o.O Apparently whatever one of the results are, it could give you up to three Materials type items o.O

Okay, so I boomed one going from +8 to +9 and got clear and white cube fragments.

Well, now that's news to me. Something new popped up at +10. I'ma stop there because I don't feel like losing any more gold.

Mechs and especially witches have it easy when it comes to combos. 300+ is pretty easy.

Beautifully delicious.

It'd be SO easy to get a massive combo with Acid Rain + Lava Potion, but I'm sticking with my decision to completely ignore the Fire skills. Screw them and their stupid prerequisites. It's still tempting.
