What do you guys use your nails for?

I have a bad habit of biting my nails ever since I started having collectible memory, so I don't have a lot of nails.
I'm trying to grow some on at least 4 of my fingers to pick guitar with since I play classical. Maybe it's me and my poor hygiene, maybe it's the weather to blame, I'm not sure but I'm having a hard time keeping my nails clean. I do appreciate them a lot when I pick up my guitar though.

So what tasks do you employ your fingernails for?

Opening soda pop bottles

Mm I used to bite my nails to, then got the stuff that tastes terrible.. it tastes like earwax D: But anyhow, it helps to scratch mosquito bites and scratch scratchie things you buy from Lotto stores.

Other then that I don't really know xD I don't really think about it :f6:

All of the above except biting. Also add getting ice from icetrays on there.

i peel/pick my nails, paint them occasionally, pick my nose, scratch myself, point with, and other handy manual tasks associated with my nails, which oft times arent ever long enough to go beyond the tips of my fingers. and oddly my ring fingernails are square shaped, not rounded like the rest of my nails.

Bite them when im anxious/nervious, hence why i don't have any left...

Not much. I cut them as soon as there's enough there to cut. Long nails feel gross.

I tend to keep them short though. I don't bite them though o_o
