For all you know, you could /never/ get a perfect scrolled item. And then, at the same time, it could take you 5 minutes (cheapest possible) to get it. You never know.
You never know!
But the highest probability to gain a weapon with the cheapest amount of money is calculated here. It will be "wise" to follow it, as that would on average reduce the amount of money needed to scroll a perfect item.

I see I see...Average...This is a nice program, costs a lot though. You should factor in GM scrolls too, seeing as how we have some.

If you can't work out nine times the price of a GM scroll, you need some help.

If you have a GM scroll (or want to buy it), just remove one slot, and add the price of the gm scroll. Also, don't use the scroll before you have one slot left.

Any chance you could add 15/65% scrolls now?
I guess you can do unlimited amount of scrolls, since you can get them on mules too.

I will add them in as soon as I can. However, I'm not able to fix this at the given moment, as I have maths to finish, as well as other stuff. Besides, I'm trying to make a prototype for estimated high-grade crystals, mid-grade crystals and low-grade crystals + amount of money used if you have x normal crystals. But I'll update this whenever I'm done with it

Due to uni, I've sadly been unable to factor in more data. However, there's good news!
By tomorrow, there should be a possibility to add in a NX-meso ratio for those who want to factor in VHs as well. 15/65% scrolls, albeit a tad late, should come up very fast.
As of now, I've only upgraded it so that the GUI is way more user-friendly, as well as implementing ajax so that it's easier to change parametres without push the back-button and such. The look is neater as well (or so I think)!

I liked it where you clicked it and the thing popped up, it's kinda weird having it change randomly on the bottom.

I got around 3 bill, for a 4.5 mill makered, karma-ed two-handed sword. I'm just guessing on the scroll prices.

I thought bumping up this thread instead of starting a new one would be better, because I've completely redesigned the calculator as well as updating it with 50%, 100%, 65% and 15%. (Chaos scrolls for both will come later on, thus an option for it)

I'm sorry if it did not work properly. I've tested it in all of the most common browsers (apart from IE, but I suppose it works properly. If not, sue me.) without any issues, so it should be good to go now.
Link is still the same

The prices on 15/50/white scrolls aren't working for me.
I set it to 7 scrolls, 15/30/50% and white scrolls enabled. It calculates that I should use 47 15%s and 47 white scrolls for a total cost of the price of 1 clean item.

same for me, but it still works for telling you how much you need of what. I just did the math myself x:

Yeah, but I'd like to know how much I should pay for 50%s >_> my 15%s are essentially free (made 60 during the event, about 47 will get you a +7), but I'd need over 3 times as many as 50%s, and it all plays into white scrolling, and the cost of 30%ing clean items, etc...

The calculator itself does not calculate what you should pay for other scrolls (though that would be a good concept for a new calculator), it asks for the different prices on the other scrolls, and calculates the most efficient path to have all scrolls working.
E.g, if the prices on blunt weapons are 2 mill, dark scrolls are 1 mill (though they are 300,000 or so?), you have 60 15% scrolls (say they are free), pink scrolls are 40 mill and white scrolls are 350 mill, then you can insert it like this:
[imgspoiler]http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/2927/andwescrollz.png[/imgspoiler]
Does not the price-box for those scrolls appear, or isn't it possible to type anything in it? (If you insert 0 into the textfield for both 15% and white scrolls, you will find out that 47 white scrolls and 47 15% would be the cheapest)
The issue could be created through too high values in the textboxes, which would yield funny results due to 32/64-bit limitations.
Edit: There seems to be an issue with IE (Horribly, as well) and Opera. I'll try to track it down and check what the error is. For FF, Safari and Chrome though, the script works fine.

I hope it's not a 32-bit limitation, cause that means it's a ridiculous amount of money (2 trillion+? I divided all costs by 1000)
