Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

They're called Legion Expellers if I recall correctly. The problem with their charge is that it's signaled way too quickly, and then they ALL slam forward. Axion is my bit'ch. Another issue I have there is those fire and ice sprites. They have some weird hit recovery and I've found that some times on Master's that they can attack back in the middle of my combo despite being struck and not missing.

Yeah, keep b!tching about Axion. I don't have these problems, unless I'm in a party xD

And those ice sprites, they have an attack that causes an icicle to erupt from underneath. Those are what's stopping you.

No, they actually just use their melee or whatever it is while I'm attacking them.

[color="#cc8899"]The fire ones do that too. Anyways, I'm halfway through a Castellan's Kings Solo (full). 25 hits so far, B rank...I'm not doing too badly. Used up my last few sleepy clams tho.

30 hits now. I got in an annoying combo attack.

32 hits. Killed Aura Hunter. 6 rooms to go.

42 hits. Room full of puppets/statues. I hate them.

44 hits. 4 rooms (including boss) to go.

About to face Castellan himself. Wish me luck. 56 hits so far.
Total hits were around 73, including those from the boss fight. Most of those were from the armor guys, not castellan himself. Cast was an easy peasy peach. Died from a fortune coin that I used accidentally lol.

How about a good run through Castellan's and 75k? I'm sorry for charging Gold, but it's actually in high demand from my friends list o.O They all went "OMGBBQ MUST HAVE IT PLZ!!"

I don't mind paying at all. I'm at home and getting on now.

Same mob on different classes feels totally different. The boss of dragon nest is a peach for my launcher, and a b!tch for my striker.

I used my 1 last fatigue point to do a full clear Castellan (awesome place, btw). Boss had 50% HP left. I had the requirements for many of the quests fulfilled (under 22 hits, 55% Technic, 70% Style and an S Rank)... But then... I died. WOW. I had around 60-70% HP and his lightning got me. Gah...

NOOOO

I can not believe I messed that up so close to the end and with so much completed... MAN screw me. What a terrible way to end my day on DFO.

Kajiti and I just got done duking it out in PvP. Surprisingly, it was pretty even fighting, with each of us taking about half the matches. I started off getting about 2/3, but once he picked up my attack patterns I had more difficulty.

I inflicted Bleed on him several times, and had to restrain myself from laughing at the woman running around dripping blood on the nice wood floors...

Ever since my keys got replaced I've lost all want-and-will to keep going. I wasn't with it long enough to memorize every key allotted (like I have in maple) and yeah. It doesn't take much to bring me down, admittedly, but that was pretty shitty on their part.

It sorta felt like you were winning more tbh. Very annoying attacks you've got there, haha xD I was mostly seeing what worked and what didn't. The most surprising thing to me so far was me Suplexing you while you were Windmilling.

2nd match was a draw. Look at the upper left part of the screen.


EDIT: Since I've only PvPed against bread boy, my track record says I won 10 times and lost 24 times.

Hmm...I mostly just did Dragonoid Nest runs, but it may be harder for melee'rs. Try doing party runs in some of the higher dungeons (have someone bring you along). Golems ought to be good for a melee job.

Dragonoid Nest hard? Not really, I enjoy it more than Golems, though. The boss' Super Armor and "immovable object" characteristic make it hard for my Hook Explosion to work. : (

About equipment reinforcement, is there a chance my item will break? Make it be gone forever? I'm to scared and cheap to try it.

I haven't seen anything break, but have seen it mentioned as a possibility (never seen proof). I've yet to have an upgrade fail, though.[/COLOR]

And that's why I said "valid", if the enemy can still perform anything it's not a valid combo(for a super melee like striker at least)

It seemed to work fine against mob, takes out a good chunk of boss hp before they fly off(except the supplex part)
