Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
Trailblazer is CB only.

E-penor flaunting time:

 Godly Belt
 Crappy Shoulder
Belt came out default +6 @ 0.9%Redux. ohsnp. Shoulder came out like 7 below def, 2 below str, 3 below MP though, but whatever, a huge step up from my previous still.

I do believe you got those backwards. o.O

Just got another purple equip from a dungeon reward, and amazingly enough, even though it is part of a set, it sucks more than the Schwarz Kreis Boots I've had! Gives +1 to Leap, and the set gives +1 to Apply Poison, and Claw Mastery. That last one actually sounds appealing as a Fighter, but then again it's heavy armor -_-;

 Messe Quadrat Boots

USMC wasn't kidding when he said he doesn't get any equips from dungeon rewards o.O Partied with him in Vestibule Master's three times and got nada from 6 cards.

Messe Quadrat is a Brawler set.
Just randomly partied a mage today, helping him/her do quests. There was a Broom. I see what FelixTM was talking about o.O
Just wondering, how many people actually use the skill command thing(like down+z and stuff)?

Personally I seal all them off lol, might try it one day.

There's so many skills, I have to use the button combination for some. I only do easy ones with it.

Jack spike = special attack
Rising shot = forward + special attack
Aerial fire = up up + special attack
Mine = down down + special attack
Robot = hold down + special attack

That peach in the level with the blimps is incredibly annoying. Staying in the air for as much of the time as possible helps avoid her flying discs, but I need to be careful not to land in the middle of a crowd of other enemies.
iunno if its a good thread but maybe someone can help me :X
whenever i try to to play im getting this msg T_T anyone know how to fix this ? since i cant find any solution for that.

I use some of them. Exact names are not used xD
--"Jump attack via Mario style", Z while in the air.
--Back Leap, down + C. (good for avoiding boss techs such as shockwaves and Lakius's Electricity Shield)
--Quick Recovery, C while knocked prone. (ironically it actually takes longer to recover if you delay using this skill)
--Low Kick, down + X (I don't like this skill, but it makes for a great interrupt, and hits prone monsters)

The only skill I've sealed so far is Suplex (right + Z), since it somehow has a tendency to go off when I don't want it to.

Anyone that's a Gunner, how hard is it for you guys to consistently get high ranks such as S? Met lots of Gunners today that said they're having issues getting SS on Vestibule.

Muse's Uppercut = Aerials
Kick and Suplex Thunder = Overkillers
Suplex and Seismic Punch (if direct contact occurs) = automatic Back Attack and mob control (Suplex can never be used for Counter on the target enemy, sadly)
Low Kick and Crushing Fist? and default attack = Counter attacks

Also, with the exp/fatigue thing, seems like Floating Castle is the way to go, due to the sheer number of mobs. Even though I get crap for ranks there on Expert (S sometimes, mostly A's), it still beats the pants out of SSS Expert Castellan's Chamber. Visiting more rooms makes the dungeon run more inefficient, unless your goal was to loot anything that isn't equipment.
I don't use any command skills, all hotkey. I don't want any skills going off randomly when I'm not expecting them. I still have 2 unused skillslots as well.

Also, it's a pain in the ass for gunners to get Tech. Style is easy enough, since our default attack pulls enemies skyward. Super armor Knights are a biitch though.

^o^ Frickin' awesome, right?

I spent almost all of my time playing yesterday practicing flying and air juggling with my sexy broom (thanks to Deviant and Joe!). It's SO much fun. I especially love Golem Tower because they make it so easy. I was doing solo Expert/Master runs from 20-21. I can kill the Golem Controller and then rape the Golem Souls in big mobs. Group them with Black Manteau and juggle with Uppercut + Force Palm + mid-air broom attacking. Throw in some Enhanced Magic Missle, and they can't even touch me.
If anyone is 21+ and wants to check out Behemoth I'm gonna be doing runs there today.
Anyone else notice that sometimes the expellers in VoD get "stuck" in their stone form and can't move? Easy targets ftw.

Because Spitfires have so many different buff skills and stuff like that, I'm beginning to learn the skill commands instead of hotkeying everything, due to the limited space.

I've mastered the Robot one (Down + Z) so far. But then again, I haven't played in the better part of a week. Frown

The alternative would be to only assign the buffs you need for w/e dungeon you're doing.
After planning through till 60 (even though we cap at 40), I have 14 essential skills that I use on a regular basis that dont have easy commands. I need 2 more skills slots, or to get used to some pain in the ass commands. pineapple.
Is this gun any good? Or should I just NPC it?

Found it while doing a Golem Tower Master's solo (which I S ranked and unlocked King's Road Big Grin). I wish I could unlock King's in Puppet Museum...
Score! (Serast Blue has been destroyed)

I have skills(including jump/normal atk) on QWER ASDF ZXCV 1234, though it's enough for now, I don't think it will be sufficient when I get more skills, and some of the keys are pretty inconvenient to reach.

This make me think of the skill hotkey system "Cabal" have, you can plan 4 sets of skills on 1-0. Say you're using the 1st one, press f1, it goes to the 2nd one, f3, to the 3rd one, f1, back to the 1st one.

Edit: all these drops you guys find make me die a little inside Sad

*reinstalling*
I use all commands, no hot keys.
FelixTM Wrote:Is this gun any good? Or should I just NPC it?
You can npc it. You can get a non-upgraded version of that gun from a quest and upgrading it to +4 wouldn't be terribly difficult.
