Wow, sheesh, LOTS of posts last I checked...

I know exactly how to find Karkaza!

He appears in the room opposite of the boss room, and I believe he only appears when the boss room is entered through the bottom. So if you start in the bottom left corner, go until the split room and if the boss is at the bottom, take the top path until you come to a three way split and go down. Karkaza is there.

I dunno if any of you guys realized this, but ALL of the dungeon layouts are the same. The only random elements are the orientation of the map, and some rooms having different content.

Sadly, there's only one Karkaza per Shadow Thunderland run. Painful, I know.

Party defeat Thunderland and B Rank Poison Thunderland (gah).

Gonna go try beating Blazing Grakqarak in under 8 mins. I was really close on my 2nd attempt, so I should be able to pull it off. Either that or I'll go try the Grakqarak on Master quest. I'm a little scared though. lol

HELL YES A RANK POISON THUNDERLAND

Tried out some heavy Style fighting instead of my pure Technic fighting. Now I gotta B Rank Grakqarak! Easily beat Blazing Grakqarak within 8 mins (I did it in 6). Level 15 now too.

If you think that's hard, wait until Albert Bernstein's quest to SS Vestibule of Darkness. That can prove to be quite challenging.

Umm...unless I misunderstood it, in the mirkwood dungeons, you get random equips from reward only if you break the red treasure boxes. And I'm looking for the equivalent of the red treasure box in sky tower.

Dungeon rewards are only affected by the following:
1.) Dungeon difficulty
2.) Dungeon level
3.) How many uniques you kill (any monster that glows and has special buffs). These generally show up a lot more when you up the difficulty, to the point where you might find 2-4 of them in a room.

The equivalent of the chest in Grand Flores in Sky Tower does exist. It's just very rare. You'd be mildly lucky if you even saw one in the dungeon and you looked everywhere.

This. I suggest you talk to all NPCs and find out what they can do, either through the chat menu (when you first click on them) or through the trade window. You can also view what each NPC's function is through the world map. As well, if you do quests, you'll get more specific details about NPC services. For example, Loton tells you that disassembling equipment with blue names will give you colored cube fragments (instead of just clear ones) and disassembling purple named equipment gives you elemental crystals.

Just did another kings on dragon nest, still nothing. Few full map run on master too, never got anything.

Don't know what to tell you. I've only gotten 1 purple equipment from the dungeon rewards system. It was full Dragonoid Nest King's Road.

In the meantime, I still haven't found a recipe >_>

The only possible reason I can consider for you not getting any items at all is that you're clearing with an F.

Dorniar EX can shoot turrets while moving up and down (which can do serious damage if you don't dodge early xD). It can also pound the ground after a rapid descent...and dash straight ahead rather quickly. It will also summon GBL Zealots (which don't give any exp...>.<) which should be taken out quickly if they prove to be an annoyance :o. Ah, one more detail...if I said it's a blimp...then it would make sense for it to be flyin' amirite? ;o...I'll let you figure out the meaning behind that last bit yourselves. :3

I've ran so many King's for 2 same items for a quest, and I haven't got ANY AT ALL. From like 5 King's Runs. I'll be damned if I level to 19 before I advance.

I spent today writing a browserless DFO launcher because launching it from a web browser is a bit annoying, and other people think so too. I've got a command-line version working now. Tomorrow I'll make a little GUI version, test that everything's ok, and release both.

Disassembling regular blue equips usually gives you 1 or 2 colored cube fragments, and it wouldn't be too unusual to assume that the trend is about the same for purple equips and crystals. I don't think there's going to be a quest for those crystals for a while, if ever.

However many purple equips 16 and over can be sold to other players for a fair chunk, theres always someone out there looking for it if you're willing to put the time into it. Anyways all my friends rolled different subclasses so we tend to trade weapons and armor amongst ourselves, so im low on both cubes and money, but I have a better chance of getting useful equips.

I also have a nice stock of those element crystals from getting lucky when grinding a low-level purple, for anyone who needs them.

I'm assuming green equips that seal upon equipping are purples o.O That's 2 of the purples I've found.

But if my luck had to come from somewhere, I haven't found a single recipe yet.
