Today my robotics programming buddy and I were waiting for the abysmally slow laptop to boot up. He had a tape measure in his hand, pulled out about 40cm. With this, he made to swing at me playfully with the bendy tape. I eyed a stick of scrap plastic on the table beside us and quickly snatched it, using it to parry the blow. We proceeded to have an elaborate fencing match with our respective weapons, right there where we sat. (It's a pity we weren't on the rolling chairs. And someone would've yelled at us if we were standing.) It was an epic 10-second battle.

We glanced at the screen, which was now displaying the desktop, ready and idle. As he looked like was going to say something, I promptly turned around and pointed my plastic sword at the back of the T-shirt.

He said, "Touche."
