Did anyone else laugh their ass off at the Seria/Kargon quest chain? I feel bad for it, but...it was lolzy.
Just got this recipe for a heavy belt, if anyone wants it I have most of the materials, just missing some of the rarer etcs. Recipe is free if you have a nice gun for trade

Tikey Wrote:The problem with Light magic is that it isn't very ranged. It's more (ironically) like a close range spell. The Tier 1 Light magic only hits 3 times; the Tier 2 Light magic hits everything within a certain radius of your character. Though even with the range limitation, it's very powerful (my level 1 Sun Burst [Tier 2] fully charged does around 1500 damage on monsters).
Also, Elementalist skills from Sharan are Memorize, Move Casting, the Tier 2 spells, the Tier 3 spells, and element masteries.
I've heard in passing that Light Magic isn't very good, but I never heard why. Sun Burst does sound like a skill I'd prefer over the others, but so far, I find Pluto the best thing ever. I'm certainly considering Dark Magic now instead.
I've only ever seen Flame Strike or whatever in action though, and it looked so-so. I heavily dislike every spell except Pluto and Flourescent so far.
Though from the looks of things, you may very well be able to master two elements.
This game doesn't like anything else. If I switch users or maximize Maple while DFO is windowed, the window will turn black and become unresponsive. If I try to //full after being on too long, it maximizes in a black screen and becomes unresponsive. If I try playing MPC in the background while I'm DFOing, one of the two, if not both will have fucked up graphics displayed. Other than that... I think I'm fine for technical bugs.

Getting Gore Cross instantly allowed me to SS-rank Poison Thunderland at level 10. :3

I think upgrading follows a set progression of bonuses. When upgrading a topwear armor or a belt, it always goes .1%, .2%, .3%, .5% for me. I'm not sure if the rarity of the item effects it at all since I've only upgraded two purple tops, a green belt, and a bowgun.
Why does the game call crossbows "bowguns", lol?

It's not always the same. It varies across different items depending on the rarity and level of the item.

If anyone has or gets level 25-30 leather armor or gunner weapon pots, let me know and I'll trade you a pot for your class if I have one. At the moment, I have slayer weapon, cloth armor, and plate armor.

I think it depends on the stats, but then again who knows.
All I can say is that I actually failed to upgrade my weapon to +6. This resulted in my weapon degrading to +4, and the enchantment bonuses were the same as the previous time it was +4.
What happens if you are completely petrified? xD

2 more questions:
1) Does gun whack reduce durability faster than normal shoot?
2) Is there a difference in damage between low(not 0) durability and high durability?

Items need to be at full durability to be Reinforced. That's about it outside of doing damage like you had no weapon when it reaches 0. And the NPC price is normal price - repair price.

Solo'd this guy after my entire party got wiped out (he was at 8 bars of health remaining). 2 members gave up and left. The other stayed to watch.
Strategy amounted to -
1. Cast Aerial Fire
2. Cast Silver Bullet (if have time/mana to spare)
3. Gatling (if far away)
4. Jump/shoot spam
5. Repeat 4.
6. Repeat 5.
7. Slidekick through Ghoulguish, run like hell to other side, repeat 1-6.
I discovered that being in the air = his ice aura not hitting you.
Eventually I ran out of mana and just did 4,5,6,7, repeat. Then I remembered that I had a pretty good stock of wine.

BEHEMOTH IS AWESOME. The first dungeon is pretty easy, minus the Priest that came out of nowhere and whacked me. Damn that guy was fast. For a Full Clear, I got 40k EXP. I think the map is about 16 rooms too. It's considerably easier than soloing Master Floating for less exp, and I can actually earn potions from the new quest. Sadly, the drops I need, I only got 4/12 on a full clear, and the reward is only 3x 380 HP potions.

Yes, an A. I know, I suck. Not used to my new claws. Might switch back to Boxxorz.

Well, it depends on how you use Light Magic. It goes really good with melee combos and they tend to have auto-juggle (tier 1, only if they're down), or insta-knockdown (tier 2).
The fire and ice tier 1 spells were a big turn off to me because they are slow, forward projectiles. Which is why I only have 1 point in each of them (to unlock Magic Festival).

I didn't get hit a single time by it while I was in the air. I went a good 5 minutes without getting harmed.

The way I solo'd Ghoulguish was like this:
1. Summon robot
2. Make grenades
3. Throw grenade
4. While Ghuol is stunned, step 1
5. Jump, shoot
6. Repeat step 3-5, doing 2 when necessary
<_<

This is true, by the way. It's the only way to avoid his ice aura.
Okay, so.. anyone wanna party at Sky Tower? I'm doing Puppet Room today
EDIT: I soloed up to Master's Road at the Dragonoid Nest before I advanced. It's pretty fun and actually easy.. with Grenade and Robot.
Highest combo so far, thanks so insane mobs:

Indeed, it's insanely easy. The monsters are very melee-based. Just keep an eye on the statues...those got me the first time.
Flamethrower + mobs = win. I got several 150+ combos from those little dragons.
The boss is easy to hold off for a gunner - swap between gatling and default shooting with a repeater/bowgun.
