Ok so i got it downloaded and i connected to Aol once using the guide and i was able to view the gms nexon passport registration page so i think i was on the right track, however i restarted my computer to be sure, and I tried connecting to AOL again and this time it says my computer was not connected to the internet.
EDIT: I get this went trying to connect
connection. (Error: AC-3000 0x84100101)
Attempt 2) [Maplestory] The computer could not get an internet connection. (Error: AC-3000 0x84100101)
I named the profile Maplestory like in your guide. Also I tried going back to global MS website and i got to the registration page again, usually it would say something like "You are connecting from Korea would you like to visit the korean maplestory homepage" But it just took me straight into the website, all i have is Aol opened but not signed in, is that good enough? Also is hotspotshield useful for anything else besides using it to download the aol 9.0vr program?

Yes. As long as AOL is open and logged in, you could, say, go on Firefox and still do everything there as if you were in the US.

I played gms with hotspotshield like a year ago but then they blocked nexon.com, when you only use it to play maplestory you don't see/visit their (superannoing) ads which only popup when you use an internet browser.

I only have AOL opened, im not logged in, when i try to log in it says my computer is not connected to the internet, and get that error message.
Im just on the login page of AOL.
EDIT: Ok now i can login AOL but only if i use the broadband connection setting, if i use the Maplestory Profile, i cant log in
EDIT2: Ok now i tried making a new advanced broadband profile (from the guide you provided me in the other post) I made a another profile and used the home network setting and now im connected into AOL. In the process of downloading GMS now. I hope it will let me connect.

Depends. Do you like busy/active but maybe hard to find map at peak times, or lotsa space but maybe hard to find training partners when you want them?
Plenty of Khaini people on sp.

I like high populated maps and id prefer a server where alot of southperriens are active on, how is bera for a choice? And is there that much southperriens in khaini?

Well I guess you'll be playing off-peak hours anyway, so if you like things crowded, that would be Scania or Bera.
Edit:
As Imvindictive implies, you may find GMS players not so willing to share maps as those on KMS.

Just remember, GMS is a big drama fest..with a lot of people, a lot of competition, especially in pq's/high level training maps.
Khaini is more quiet than anything, to quiet imo.

There's a lot of competition for maps in KMS too, the only difference is that it's mainly just C-2 and B-3.
