Erich Wrote:Wrong. You have to have 100 music notes from leveling up and give them to the NPC that takes them. Wait, you guys don't know that, because paul brushed that off. I've been reading spadow's blog.

Ahhh. Nevermind then. I heard that the music notes came from the PQ.

Well...this is better.

Gee, Erich, what's your problem with Fiel? o_O

I read Spadow's Blog too, but I didn't look at that post because I didn't think there'd be any new info. So, the amount of level-ups to get it seems fair, but the LOOK of it just seems so... blah.

So the hat is something you get from an Event andnot the PQ. That is pretty dumb even if the event is permanent. As people in the spadow's blog pointed out, it really sux for those above lvl 100 to get this hat (not to mention lvl 15x+).

I didn't brush it off. Those kinds of things are not in the WZ files and can only be learned by playing the game because it's server sided scripting. It's no surprise that you learned it from Spadow. The WZ files have their limitations.

It was pretty obvious that such a detail wouldn't come from the data dude.

Unless that little musical note was added in some .wz file that fiel doesn't normally check.

Speaking of which, I finally got my regex parser all working right, so now there will be quest extractions too.

As an example...

INPUT Wrote:The detailed instructions on searching for the thief will be given by #b#p1101003##k, the Chief Knight of Light. I better talk to #p1101003#.

Apparently, the member of the Black Wings has yet to escape Ereve. If we just search the island thoroughly, we may be able to find the culprit. First, I'll need to visit #b#p1101002##k and receive a #bInvestigation Permit#k, followed by a thorough search of Ereve to find #r#o9001009##k. Once I find him, I'll need to defeat him in a battle and bring back #b#t4032101##k in the process. The problem is that the enemy, being the #o9001009#, is adept at transforming into different persons, so I better talk to each and every one of them to figure out who's real or fake. \n\n#o9001009##r #a203011##k \n#i4032101# #t4032101# #b#c4032101# / 1#k

I was able to defeat #p1104001# the #o9001009#, a member of the Black Wings, and managed to recover #t4032101#.

OUTPUT Wrote:The Master of Disguise
NOT COMPLETED:
The detailed instructions on searching for the thief will be given by Mihile, the Chief Knight of Light. I better talk to Mihile.

IN PROGRESS:
Apparently, the member of the Black Wings has yet to escape Ereve. If we just search the island thoroughly, we may be able to find the culprit. First, I'll need to visit Neinheart and receive a Investigation Permit, followed by a thorough search of Ereve to find Master of Disguise. Once I find him, I'll need to defeat him in a battle and bring back The Lost Treasure in the process. The problem is that the enemy, being the Master of Disguise, is adept at transforming into different persons, so I better talk to each and every one of them to figure out who's real or fake. \n\nMaster of Disguise XX / XX \n The Lost Treasure 0 / 1

COMPLETED:
I was able to defeat Baroq the Master of Disguise, a member of the Black Wings, and managed to recover The Lost Treasure.
