whats the point of leveling your mount?

Hi.
I recently got my first mount on my marauder, and its level 26 now. but whats the point? i dont see any improvements...

You need it at a certain level to upgrade it into a silver mane, I think its lvl 15. The only other benefit is that it can go on without food longer at higher lvls.

It takes longer to get hungry and the max hungriness before it disappears is higher.

There's no real reason to bother.

Odd, I seem to remember that lvl being 5... I could be wrong though.

Really, the other benefit is pretty useless anyways since when your mounts hits maximum tiredness, it'll reset the tiredness by 5 and dismount you. Nothing stops you from using your mount again.

No, I do too. I always carry a stock of food for it and keep it happy. Right when it gets up to 180-190, I feed it completely back to 0. Always.

I starve my mount too. The random dismount doesn't do anything 99% of the time, I'd rather have the extra use space. I feed it on my cygnus though because the crouching pose when mimio/mimiana is hungry gives me a headache when I have to stop.

How is 170 speed useless?
