Someone tell me
#1
I logged onto lolFacebook today after about six months of inactivity just to poke around and see what was up. And I noticed... one of my friends seemed to have vanished. A picture with her tagged in it only listed her name in black, no link to her account. It wasn't there, nor in my friends list, nor in searches of her name.

I asked her about it, wondering if she'd finally seen the light and ditched the accursed site. But no, she said her account's still there, and she's been on.

What?

So now I have this vague suspicion that she's blocked me on Facebook... but I can't see any reason for her to want to do that (that I know of...?) plus I never log on anyway, so it's kind of pointless.

What I'm wondering is, is there any alternate explanation? I don't want to believe she blocked me, but what else could've happened?

I don't know why this bothers me, but it does.

she can't block you, but delete you instead. Not that I think that's plausible anyway. Why'd she do that in the first place? o_o

I want to know a single person that uses FB that deletes a friend just because they feel like it. The only person I ever deleted was my ex-gf, just so you can see what I'm talking about.

Well he is talking to her in real life apparently, I'm under the assumption he doesnt like facebook, didn't go on for 6 months, probably deleted him because he never was on o_o Just to clarify what I'm saying

It's possible to block as well.

However, it's also possible to delete someone from your friends and have privacy settings that make you unsearchable, etc.

Yeah, well, whatever. What I was trying to say is that I've yet to know someone that bothers blocking or deleting someone. Rolleyes

I deleted people I will never see again.

Most likely their settings were on uber high mode which possibly only allows people in certain groups to see. Or just deleted you as a friend.
