Dam ALMOST @ the top vids damage, i hope thats a 20 atk pot i see in the top right cause that would be perfect there was also a vid of a corsair soloing that BPQ we had ive been looking for it for like an hour now but no luck maybe somoene else knows it

This is a decent pap solo, not sure if you've seen it. She has a high level (max?) Wrath of the Octopi so it's a good demonstration of its damage.

Why does she keep running into Pap's dispel range?

seems to me liek shes spending more time casting the dam octo then its worth>.>

That's not decent. You should never get stunned or dispelled by Pap, or take 1/1 damage.

With level 2 Ship/max Cannon/max Bullseye/1 Rapid Fire/1 Octo/1 MW (not even worth using) at level 158 and only decent gear, I can solo it in 7 1/2 to 8 minutes with Ciders, and my ship can just barely last the whole battle without breaking. They don't even make it past half the boss without breaking, take a couple more minutes, and they get hit by 1/1 over and over again. That's just sad.

The way you cycle the map is kinda weird o_o

Holy crap though, ~9.6m/hr counting 52 kills in the first 2 minutes after you started killing. Need to work on 2hkoing...

Edit: Aw crap, need about 6200 max range to 2hko 95% of the time. Currently have 5038, 54xx with max MW f1

Actually, that was pretty not-mobby for me. I usually split the map with someone on the bottom, so I'm used to the spawn being much faster. Also, I'm only used to killing the top, that's why my cycle is weird. I just kinda improvised it. I never solo, really.

Dusk... is it really that fast? That sounds much faster than I thought it was. I might start soloing more often if that's the case. I'll time a 10 minute session for myself later. The only point of that was to show Reflexx how a normal Corsair might train there. Since my Air Strike isn't nearly strong enough, I only use it for luring.

It could be a little high, but it's probably not way off (guessing at least 9m exp/hr). I actually find the exp better at Oblivion when I solo (unless I have HS). It gives the mobs more time to collect so I can Torpedo more often than I Cannon. I don't party very often except when a buddy with an HS mule just happens to be training at the same time.

Dude, that's like the primary use for Air Strike.

You dismount ship so you can move to a good location to attack. The only attacks that are really useful while you're jumping around and recoiling are Burst Fire and Ice Splitter. Might as well get stuff frozen while you're on the move.

do battle ships move faster then walking speed?
