Can affect anything except LUK, DEX, STR and INT. Those are the only thing a DARK crystal changes.

Therefore, def, speed, hp, magic att, etc have a chance to change too.

So for a weapon to have the highest potential in atk, the gems should be diamond+black crystal+(main/2ndary stat)crystal?

If your weapon has either default or added stats that aren't AP-based, those will be affected as well.
